CDH International, the world's oldest and largest charity for Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia, offers research, support and awareness services globally. 

CDH is a birth defect that occurs when a baby's diaphragm fails to fully form, allowing abdominal organs into the chest cavity and preventing lung growth.  Every 10 minutes a child with CDH is born or 1 in 2500 babies.   The survival rate is 50% in High Income Countries and >1% in Lower Income Countries. 

CDH International works with many health organizations, researchers and patients around the world to fight Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia and save more lives.
