Paid for this and got all other manuals except Hazmat. I think in addition to questions on Hazmat the hazmat manual should be included in future updates since this is paid for covering hazmat questions. ### 4/5 — Good app *2013-04-19, version 2.1* The price is a little steep but it beats going out and hunting down a handbook or using all your ink printing it out. There's IS a equivalent hand book in the app despite what an other reviewer says. Although, there's a section on road signs that seems rather ridiculous(if you don't know what a red light means, driving commercially probably isn't your best idea). Would like to see a practice section and an actual test section rather than showing right or wrong as soon as the answer is clicked on. It's a collection of widely available public information. It doesn't "teach" you at all. It contains literally just the CDL manual and practice tests. Which you can find for absolutely free online. I bought this expecting it to tell me which subjects I needed work in, what exactly I need to know to pass the Class A, B, C, etc. CDL tests, and constantly train my knowledge of the material. This does none of that and nothing beneficial. I got it to have a teacher because I'm horrible at teaching myself, and it failed miserably. How can I trust this app to study for my test if they can't get it right. Sometimes it has the same question twice with different answers. Like driving in the desert. I actually have the official NYC CDL cheat sheets. The question and answer are not the same. This app wouldn’t be reliable if you were studying for the NYC exams. I wouldn’t say this app is a waste of money but it’s not worth $10. There are free apps available. Took my X endorsement test on 12-5-14 and passed, I give all credit to this app. 95% of the questions in this app are on the real test. I studied this app earnestly for 3 days until I memorized the 120 questions in Tanker and Hazmat. The day before my test I went online and did free practice tests that filled in a few blanks this app did not cover. I would highly advise downloading some images of the placard system, the HMT table (how the columns are ordered), hazmat shipping papers, and the hazmat tables (2 of them). Also know the basic difference between the HMT, Appendix A (reportable quantity) and Appendix B (marine pollutants). I only had to guess maybe three times throughout the entire 50 question test.
