It would be great to add features such as: * Support for managing multiple accounts in one app with easy account switching, so users don’t have to log in again and again. * A smoother, faster and more user-friendly interface. * More advanced account and demat management features directly within the app. * Complete access to all important services currently available on the website. * Better notifications and real-time updates. * Strong security features such as Face ID/biometric login. * A modern dashboard showing all important account information in one place. * Easy document and transaction management. * Advanced search, filters and transaction history. * The ability to complete more processes digitally without visiting the website. Overall, the goal should be to make the app a complete, modern and all-in-one CDSL platform so users can perform almost everything from the app itself. ### 2/5 — Operating issues *2025-11-07, version 1.0.9* Nowadays the app cannot open rather inserting correct credentials. Otherwise we have moved to NSDL. This CDSL APP requires me to enter my login credentials every time I visit the App. Every other APP remembers their users. Why can’t your pathetic APP remembers them?? ### 1/5 — New version *2025-08-08, version 1.0.6* Earlier version was much better ### 1/5 — Broken OTP System – Can’t Even Access My Own Investments *2025-08-08* Absolutely pathetic experience from a platform that’s supposed to securely handle people’s investments. The OTP system is a complete joke. They send a 6-digit OTP on email, but the app only allows 4 digits — and even when you try the first 4, it says invalid OTP. This isn’t a one-time glitch — it happens repeatedly. How can a national depository not even get basic login security right? I’ve tried multiple times, different devices, different times of day — nothing works. No response from support either. If I can’t access my own holdings, what’s the point of this app? Extremely frustrating. This kind of user experience makes me seriously question how safe or reliable CDSL’s systems are. This app not at all allow to register. Tried dozen times to login and still doesn’t let login. It keeps showing a message that my user ID is “temporarily locked,” but doesn’t mention for how long. There is no clarity or proper explanation. Then it says I can reset my password. I go through the entire reset process successfully, receive confirmation that the password has been changed, and I’m told I can now log in with the new password. But when I try to log in again, it still says “temporarily locked.” On top of that, every time I try to log in, it asks for two separate OTPs — one sent to my contact number and another to my email ID. The entire login process takes 3–5 minutes every single time.
