The hearing app is developed and designed for Cearvol hearing aids to help users setup hearing aid functions and customize hearing parameters quickly. Includes the following functions as follows: "Main control " Volume adjustment: 10-level volume adjustment, synchronized with the gain, and the left and right hearing aid can be adjusted independently. Hearing aids battery : Synchronously shows the current battery percentage of the hearing aids. Ear tips switching: Different acoustic parameters are set for the two ear caps (closed and open ear tips). When switching ear tips, you need to select the right eartip setting on app. Synchronization function: Quickly switch whether the volume control of the left and right hearing aid is synchronized. It connects once, then locks up on the sign in screen the next time it opens. Only way I’ve found to get past it is reinstalling both app and aids each time. Unacceptable. ### 1/5 — Great hearing aids, horrible application. *2026-06-25* Let me start off by saying so far I have been loving the wave hearing aids. Once I finally got the app to work and customize them more that is. The app is complete trash. The fonts are huge, it looks cheap, there are misspelled words all over, and the worst part is getting it to connect to the hearing aids. They are connected to the phone just fine, but the app fails to connect to them 90% of the time. Thank goodness you don’t need the app much after the initial setup because it is a massive pain in the bum. ### 1/5 — Can’t get into the app *2026-06-19* I was able to get in initially and set up the earbuds but then it disconnected from the Bluetooth and it won’t get past the initial screen where you have to sign in. It’s completely frozen. Tried to uninstall and reinstall the app but it won’t work. ### 2/5 — Hearing aids are great, app is not. *2026-05-01* I recently purchased the Wave and absolutely love them. They’re a huge step up from the Sony CRE-E10’s that I wore for the past 2-3 years. However, this app has constant issues pairing to the hearing aids when I put them in. I’d have to turn off and on my Bluetooth or the aids themselves just to get the app to load properly. Also, when I’m trying to load a historical audiogram from the in-app hearing test to the hearing aids, the aids stop working. I have to load a preset just for them to function properly, and then run another hearing test to fine tune them back to my hearing profile. Please fix these issues. They work almost as good as my old Truhearing aids that cost me $700/ear, after Medicare insurance coverage. But I do have two issues. 1. Feedback squeal intermittently, with either of the provided open or closed tips. Mostly when multiple people are talking over each other. 2. The apple IOS app. Is very flaky at reconnecting to the hearing aids. The aids say Bluetooth connected, but app stays at the connecting page. Sometimes I can put them back in the charge case then reconnect them and it will start working. Other times I have to forget them from the phone and exit the Cearvol app. Then repair and start the app. Fizzing these two issues would be a great help. ### 5/5 — Good *2024-06-01* It was simple to do and allowed me to customize the Cearvol hearing aids to match my high and mid frequency hearing loss. I can control volume and other functions to make my hearing aidswork in different noisy situations.
