To be honest, I forget to pray for others more often than not, unless it's something major. Ceaseless really helps me out. It's simple but really useful. I was touched to see my closest aunt's name popped up. She is living with Alzheimer and this app reconnects me with her. It even gave me the option to favorite her and add notes. Support was available through email for a few responses; but then my problem was not resolved. I do NOT use the iPad Apple app for mail client. I use Gmail, so this app may not yet be developed enough to allow for multiple options for mail clients. When I tried to either send a text/SMS message or email message, the program either crashed or just did nothing. POSITIVE: I WAS able to load my contacts & edit them; just could not send any prayer messages. If the app could be developed better, I would pay for it, as it is a good format and the creator has put some work into it & has a great heart it seems for praying for others. Great idea, hope this develops further to be very useful eventually. I’m the type of person who downloads several dozen apps, and plays with them to find the best one. Ceaseless was definitely the best app. It was easy to set up and begin using. Has great reminders. It’s easy to share with others. My only complaint, and why I didn’t give it five stars is that I have a friend who has a Samsung phone and is not able to download it. Lately, though, I’ve been trying to add notes and “favorite” some people to remember the requests and pray more often, but the app crashes and doesn’t save my inputs. To the developer— please check that everything is still ok. I would hate to have to look for another app because I really like this one already. But I’m not certain how some of these people appear here when I do not know them, and some do not appear at all, like my family members. It’s a keeper app, though. It’s become a record of my relationships with friends and family. it takes me about three months to pray through my contacts,10 people per day. I’m always adding new information as I get to each name. Some have died, so I pause to dwell on fond memories of them. ## Most praised reviews (9 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Has changed my prayer life *2020-07-29, version 1.0.11* This app has been a great encouragement to my prayer life -I always look forward to seeing who is on my list for the day. I like that I can change the number of people I pray for whenever I want. I had started out with an overly ambitious number and I struggled. I also like that I can remove a contact from the Ceaseless list without removing that contact from my contacts list. Every contact on your list eventually shows up including businesses or that electrician etc you put in five years ago but whom you don’t know -I went through the entire list once and the next time removed numerous contacts like that and cut my list from 400 to 200. My only wish is that you could go back and check past days because occasionally I get interrupted or otherwise don’t get to it and it’s the next day and I have no idea who I missed. ### 5/5 — Very Helpful *2019-07-25, version 1.0.9* I really appreciate this app, as it reminds me to pray for specific people each day. I also appreciate the daily verse that reminds me of God’s love and faithfulness. Setup of the prayer list was a bit challenging since my contact list has built up so much over the years. It took a while to delete old or unknown contacts from the prayer list. The notification banner every day is really helpful. It would also be great to see a badge on the app icon, but I haven’t come across a way to enable that too.
