I did it multiple times, in good lighting, no hat or covering, and the passport photo clearly looks like me. I’m told it’s a 0% match each time. The passport scanning interface has no guiding frame at all, making it impossible to align the document. Even after capturing a clear photo, the "Submit" button remains unresponsive. Celcom used to be reliable, but now the internet is slow, the line keeps dropping, and the coverage is totally unstable. Even using mobile data feels frustrating — the speed goes up and down, and sometimes it doesn’t load at all. If this is the result of the “network integration”, it’s really disappointing. I hope CelcomDigi takes this seriously because customers are paying every month, yet the quality keeps getting worse. The customer service will only be perfunctory, saying "try to restart" and "change the location", which can't solve the problem at all! Strongly not recommended! Don’t even think about streaming or playing games unless you enjoy buffering and lag more than the actual content. Customer service? A complete joke. You’ll wait ages just to speak to someone, and when you finally do, they either give you copy-paste responses or promise to “escalate” the issue – which means absolutely nothing, because no one ever follows up. It feels like they’re just buying time until you give up complaining. They lock you into long contracts with tons of hidden charges, and trying to cancel the service is like navigating a bureaucratic maze blindfolded. Their billing is equally shady – sudden charges that make no sense and zero transparency. Honestly, I regret ever signing up with them. You’re better off using mobile data from literally any other telco.
