### 4/5 — Straightforward app

*2025-08-19, version 8.52*

I haven’t used the app for a long time yet but so far so good

### 4/5 — Good but not consistent

*2025-03-18, version 8.52*

Great idea but needs work. Location of masts changes randomly.
It would be good to be able to filter the masts by network provider

### 4/5 — Good app with room to grow.

*2025-02-19, version 8.52*

Despite needing some major improvements in the interface and controls, it did not take long to realize that the nearest cell for my network was exactly where the arrow in AR mode pointed. Worked where other apps failed for what I need but overpriced for the amateur GUI

### 5/5 — It’s great

*2025-02-17, version 8.52*

Does what it says & is very handy to identify towers nearest you - plus now leaning this I get longer range - despite the fact I’ve paid full price for their entire group of apps here (& was worth it)

### 5/5 — Works well!

*2025-02-12, version 8.52*

I really like the AR feature

### 4/5 — Amazing 3-D map.. small ‘but’

*2025-01-27, version 8.52*

I love how quickly it can show you all the towers around and give you information about them. I’m having a hard time learning the functions of the app, it needs a tutorial, and I could not select some towers because they were so small on the visual, or some other the reason, so 4 stars. HAPPY with it though, helped me locate the best spot for my 5G home Internet Wi-Fi. Thanks.

### 5/5 — Surprised

*2025-01-26, version 8.52*

Totally happy I found that now I can get some peace of mind by rearranging my space

### 5/5 — Works great

*2024-12-30, version 8.52*

Much better than other apps I’ve tried. Shows all cell towers nearby. Click on them to show provider. It would be useful if it showed whether 3G, 4G or 5G.

### 2/5 — Good But Crashes

*2024-12-24, version 8.52*

Not bad, but the “Navigation” section that shows the tower infos on the map always crashes the App as soon as I go into it.

### 5/5 — Very useful

*2024-12-22, version 8.52*

This app is very useful. We are using it while we search for a new home. I highly recommend!

### 5/5 — Just started..

*2024-11-09, version 8.52*

I haven’t had a chance to use it yet, but five star promises incentives. I will pop back if I need to demote, if not, it deserves the 5 star review! :)

### 4/5 — Great for EMF!

*2024-11-02, version 8.52*

Love app, but needs better instructions.

### 4/5 — Not bad

*2024-10-30, version 8.52*

Not a bad way to find cell towers

### 5/5 — Simple and better graphics

*2024-09-23, version 8.52*

I really like info

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2024-07-20, version 8.52*

Awesome App. It helps to determine how much radiation exposure you may be getting.

### 5/5 — Technical information that is very useful

*2024-07-13, version 8.52*

I’ve measured metrics from multiple apps and will say without Doubt this is the must useful app with the highest value data sets I’ve seen yet! Thank you!!

### 5/5 — LEGIT

*2024-06-07, version 8.52*

Dopenhauser M.D.

### 5/5 — This app actually works

*2024-05-21, version 8.52*

I like the app because it works and does not require a subscription. The AR is really neat as well.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — No as advertised

*2025-05-27, version 8.52*

Program is not compatible with newest IPhone screens. Data is outdated and some not functional. Complete disappointment.

### 1/5 — Confusing interface

*2024-09-24, version 8.52*

Hard to navigate - why does it keep asking to turn on camera when I declined every time?

### 1/5 — Worthless to me

*2024-03-10, version 8.52*

Description stated that I would learn what tower my cell phone was connected to. Absolutely worthless! Provides a link to a YouTube video about EMF exposure. Shows me only 1 cell tower which is not the one I am connected to. Provided only the name of that tower. I tried another app for free that shows me 100s of nearby towers with signal strength, carrier names, and other info. Recommend avoiding this app.

### 1/5 — Deceptive

*2024-02-18, version 8.1*

The app looked great and has a good interface. But it has no idea where the cell towers are. Where I live there are about 6 towers hosting the 4 UK networks. The app shows at least 3 dozen, none of which coincide with an actual tower. Some are shown to be in houses or in the sea! I don’t know where the app gets mast location and cell data from, but it’s not from received signals or plotted positions. It can’t even show which tower you are connected to or what frequency band or channel is in use. Instead it refers you to ‘field test mode’. I could do that before I spent my money.

### 1/5 — Didn’t work for me

*2024-01-28, version 8.0*

IOS v17.3

They provide a “number” to dial to get your signal strength (*3001…). It only returns an unknown error.

### 1/5 — This is not a cell tower locator to align a new internet gateway.

*2023-11-28, version 7.9*

Sadly I downloaded and paid the fee for an app that I will delete. It seems like the function of this app is to let you know how much radiation you might be exposed to by nearby cell phone towers. The app is not user friendly or supply information about major towers and antennas for connecting an internet gateway.

### 1/5 — PatC

*2023-09-04, version 7.9*

Navigation link crashes every time you click the link. Went to App Store to check for update. App Store shows no results for app under EMF Towers. Turns out app goes by a different name and no software updates were indicating a need for it. All other links seem to work but the one star reflects all the time it took to find the app in App Store with the added name missing from app itself.

### 1/5 — Unusable

*2023-08-20, version 7.8*

Wanted to see where the towers were around me, so zoomed in and no reference point can’t actually tell where the towers are.

### 1/5 — Does not work in UK

*2023-08-15, version 7.8*

Mobile phone masts in the UK are not shown.

Contacting the developer also doesn’t seem to work.

### 1/5 — Bait and switch

*2023-04-22*

This app is useless. I want my $ back. Maybe I should just change careers and get into fake app development like this one just to make more money by fooling people. So aggravating! Once I purchased this app, I used the “augmented reality” tower finder which just takes a photo snapshot of what your camera sees and then plots an arrow. Each time I ran it, it was very inconsistent as to which direction it suggested the closest tower was. I’m used in a rural area but not too far from an interstate. To use other features you have to jump hoops like calling a phone number and other hoops I gave up and regretted falling for this one. Ugh. Totally useless.

**Developer response:** Dear user, you could had contacted to me to solve your doubts. Also if you don't like the app following the established Apple guidelines you can have your money back, I can indicate how to proceed. This app doesn't take an snapshot, it shows the world in augmented reality view, and the towers around you. So you can see the towers surrounding you and the distance. It's an amazing experience. You missed the point, the phone number is a code to obtain information yourself of your telecom network. You're not calling to anyone. You can contact me to solve any doubts. Regards.

VR is amazing

### 5/5 — Fun to use

### 5/5 — Great App to Find IMSI Catchers

*2025-08-13, version 8.52*

Think you’re connected to a rogue cell tower? This app will show your location as the entry point into their network. Hasn’t failed me yet, and I have the RF burns and physical damage to show I was right over the target.

### 5/5 — Great

*2025-08-06, version 8.52*

Great

### 5/5 — Great

Great product

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2025-05-02, version 8.52*

I love this app it’s super informative

### 5/5 — EXTREMELY Useful!

*2025-04-22, version 8.52*

This tool is extremely accurate. The readings when paired with external separate dedicated hardware provides a powerful combination consistent with each other’s data points when given proximity, and referential outputs variables. It is an absolute must have app for both curious minds alike, as well as professional target acquisition for those concerned with unseen threats. This should be standard on every smartphone for obvious reasons in 2025, which is why it’s not.
A few dollars however will offer a lifesaving starting point for hobbyists just getting started with the basics of radiophysics, harmonics mitigation and given appropriate resources can put those little worries you have inside right down at rest.

Plus it’s fun.

Developer should continue with this and maintain updates continually as needed. They may consider reaching out to vendors of portable smart devices for inclusion as a standardized features for situational awareness. It is 2025 after all. Excellent job on this app.👍

### 5/5 — Excellent for DIY Cellular Signal Amplifier Planning

*2025-03-29, version 8.52*

Our current cell phone indoor signal strength is typically 1 or sometimes 2 bars. I plan to purchase a signal amplifier. This app allows me to determine outdoor antenna location and orientation before I make that purchase. I can estimate the amount and type of labor involved which is important for making installation decisions-especially for an old man who has to plan and do all of the work himself.
