### 3/5 — Lack of map data updates

*2025-05-19, version 1.7*

For being a software development company the app is slick and well designed HOWEVER, the lack of updates to the cell map data is disappointing. 6-12 month delays …and this is not due to ISED data delays.

### 3/5 — New cell towers

*2024-08-16, version 1.7*

Hoping this would show the new cell tower at a friends cottage but I see the last update was in May so I am presuming this needs to be updated. We’ll see how quick this happens. For now a tentative 3

### 2/5 — It was better when…

*2024-08-03, version 1.7*

…they showed the higher 5G frequencies at 24GHz & 39GHz. Why did you stop?

### 3/5 — Make so I can connect for free

*2023-11-23, version 1.7*

Should make so I can connect via NFC cellular data and calling and texting LTE/4G/5G because you would have the best rated app in the App Store and make the same amount of money as charging per plan any how bell and rogers Canada please make this a thing you add to your app pretty please xoxox

### 4/5 — Like it, missing one of my carriers though

*2023-10-14, version 1.7*

Missing “Icy+” other than that, love the app; should be a way to add carriers :)

### 3/5 — Great but late updates

*2023-04-15, version 1.7*

This apps is awesome but the monthly data base update is always a month+ late :(

### 3/5 — Lots not on map

*2021-05-10, version 1.7*

Drove by two huge cell towers today in Victoria. Not on map. Where are all the Bell towers in Victoria? I’m Telus, and the app seems ok fm a Telus point of view.

### 5/5 — Great App

*2021-03-21, version 1.7*

What a great App, find the service providers tower that your looking for and aim your antenna to the nearest tower with ease!

Awesome!
Awesome!
Awesome!

### 5/5 — Xplornet Best App

*2021-02-06, version 1.7*

I can’t express myself enough how great this app is for Xplornet LTE installs

### 2/5 — Not enough information

*2021-01-12, version 1.7*

This app finds cell tower locations quite well but that’s all it seems to be able to do. If it could show signal strength it would be far more helpful than it is. Also, there doesn’t seem to be any help available to the user.

### 5/5 — Easy to use

*2021-01-06, version 1.7*

This app gave me exactly what I was looking to learn (cell tower location for a signal booster antenna). Very clean and smooth running platform as well.

### 5/5 — Wonderful tool

*2020-10-10, version 1.7*

I work in a cell phone store and this is a great resource to have

### 4/5 — great app

*2020-10-03, version 1.7*

it would be better if you could see the type (4g or 5g)

### 5/5 — Great app

*2020-09-16, version 1.7*

Excellent app!! Very informative and easy to use.

### 5/5 — Easy to use and informative

*2020-09-08, version 1.7*

Very easy to use and intuitive. It shows cell towers on a map, identifies which carrier it is, and even tells you the band it’s broadcasting on!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — No longer updated

*2025-06-20, version 1.7*

Data is now 5 months old, unreliable.

### 1/5 — No cell towers within 100km radius

*2023-09-09, version 1.7*

It updated and now it shows no cell towers for 100km radius and i can literally look out my window and see one 500 feet away

### 1/5 — Wrong bands, missing frequency and wrong data

*2023-02-16, version 1.7*

I have this other app that also uses data from industry Canada to provide a map of cellular tower. In Montreal, there is a ton of missing bands from Telus and Bell, they are all missing 2100Mhz when they have it.

YOU ARE ALSO MISSING 2300Mhz sites!!

### 1/5 — Total crap

*2022-07-01, version 1.7*

Don’t waste your time

### 1/5 — Useless

*2020-12-13, version 1.7*

It doesn’t show towers and says none within 62 mile radius while I have one just a mile away.

### 1/5 — Not in Canada, but...

*2020-04-28, version 1.5*

This app doesn’t tell you it is a Canadian Cellular Mapper. It does if you read the reviews, but nothing in the app tells you it is Canadian.

### 1/5 — Bogus

*2020-03-02, version 1.5*

This app is useless. Within 10 miles of my home there are at least 6 towers visible from the nearby roads. Yet you’re saying there are none within 62 miles. Deleting. 👎🏻

### 1/5 — Agree

*2020-02-12, version 1.5*

I whole heartedly agree with the first review indicating a non-functional app. Blank screen where there should be towers. I also know of 3 that I would like bearings for, and this app stated zero. Piece of junk which is good only for consuming memory on your Apple device.

### 1/5 — Australian

*2020-01-14, version 1.5*

It’s so bad, it doesn’t even bother to locate Australia’s towers.

### 1/5 — Negative one

*2020-01-12, version 1.5*

This App is Garbo don’t waste time inaccurate at best

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — The perfect app

*2026-03-09, version 1.7*

It has everything you need and there are no payments or memberships.

### 5/5 — Excellent! Where are the Telus, Rogers, Freedom towers located? It tells all

*2025-12-27, version 1.7*

Excellent for checking coverages!

### 5/5 — Great App

*2024-10-19, version 1.7*

Excellent app for finding everyone’s tower.

### 5/5 — Extremely Useful App

*2024-03-24, version 1.7*

I occasionally fancy hunting for cell towers, and this is a splendid app for doing so. I can see what provider owns which tower, and what bands it can provide.

### 5/5 — Amazing app!

*2023-12-10, version 1.7*

Easy interface

### 5/5 — Greg at little app

*2023-07-07, version 1.7*

Works well and is simple enough I can show customers graphically why something is happening on their alarm system which uses cellular to communicate.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2023-03-23, version 1.7*

Well made, intuitive, you can even search towers by cell providers.

A+

### 5/5 — Great app.. reasonably accurate tower data

*2023-02-21, version 1.7*

TRANSPARENT… not an attempt at Ad generating revenue. But true Love U provide cell tower info. It would be good to have some way to volunteer signal strength information around a tower from my cellular devices… as the Canadian government provides ZERO consumer protection against cell/telecom where/when they provide poor coverage… this would at least provide ACCURATE coverage data that is NOT as transparent on providers own maps…. And may be worth a paid subscription… at the least

Maybe even a lobby to consumer advocacy MUCH needed. Trudeau libertals: Where is our consumer advocate dept you promised in 2019:?

### 5/5 — Works extremely well…

*2021-12-28, version 1.7*

Too bad doesn’t do USA as well?

### 5/5 — Forest fires 2021

*2021-07-05, version 1.7*

We use this app to upload map data while flying over forest fires. Gives us the closet tower locations & frequencies. Lat & Longs would be nice.
