These app does most of what I’d like it to.

My main grizzle is the absence of some form of stocktake functionality.

Inevitable I use wines I fail to immediately deduct them from inventory, which creates the need to recheck actual stock levels periodically.

I have been using the original cellar quite happily for many years
Last iPad iOS update it has triggered a message that it needs to be updated by the developer.  
I looked at cellar 2 and could see nothing to justify buying it again. Backing up the original  cellar is possible but I haven’t done it for quite a while.   
Can’t find a way to contact the developer to find a recovery solution.
Details of 2000 plus bottles probably lost.  Be warned.  If there was a path forward without paying again I missed it.  Seems longevity is not part of this Apps business model which is totally inappropriate for a cellar app

Gute App mit guten Funktionen. An der Optik könnte man noch feilen. Auch das Eintragen kann manchmal etwas Zeit in Anspruch nehmen. Die Mail und Importfunktion ist klasse sofern die Gegenseite auch die App nutzt. Hoffentlich gibt es regelmäßiger Updates. Das letzte liegt fast ein Jahr zurück.

Ich habe meine Weine sowohl auf dem iPhone als auch auf dem iPad. Das iPhone dient als Hauptgerät. Leider ist es unmöglich die aktualisierte Weinliste in Meine Weine 2 auf das iPad zu übertragen. Egal wie ich die Daten rüber bringe. Infos werden nicht übernommen wie z. B.  Kaufort, Alkoholgehalt oder manchmal auch die Etiketten. Sehr schade. 
Man könnte die Eingabe eventuell auch noch vereinfachen.

Optisch leicht verändert zu „Meine Weine1“. Kein großer Wurf, ich hätte mir eine Datenbank Importfunktion gewünscht: EAN gescannt und alle wichtigen Daten werden automatisch eingetragen. So muss man wirklich jede Flasche sowohl optisch als auch Hintergründe des Weines manuell eintragen.
Für jemanden der Zeit und Lust hat alles einzutragen, ein optisch schöne Möglichkeit seine Weine zu archivieren.

Es wird eine neue Version angeboten und die alte ist einfach abgeschaltet. Daher ist ein Export nicht möglich. Ärgerlich, dass man nicht darüber informiert wird. Die ganze schöne Arbeit ist jetzt umsonst.

If you want to track where your wine is, this is a waste of time and money. You can say it’s in the basement but if you’ve got a rack with 70 spots, you can’t say WHICH spot it’s in. Yup. Useless. 

Camera also doesn’t work right. You need to position the frame just so to place it in the bottle but too small to really be of any use to read it. 

I don’t need a gazillion colours to put on my wine bottle. Just need to know what the label looks like and where it’s located!

**Developer response:** Thanks so much for your feedback - hugely helpful to us. We'll take what you say on board - especially about wine rack locations which sounds like a key feature for you - and we'll see what we can do to address it.

We are working on ways of improving the way you can take label photos more easily, it is a pain to get right and getting a good quality photo of a label is surprisingly hard.

Entgegen Ankündigung ist upgrade von meine Weine auf meine Weine 2 nicht kostengünstiger als ein Neukauf

**Developer response:** Bestehende Benutzer von Meine Weine erhalten einen Rabatt von 50% auf den Preis. Der volle Preis beträgt 10,99 Euro. Der verbilligte Preis, der den Benutzern angeboten wird, sollte in Ihrer Landeswährung bei 5,49 Euro liegen.

Unfortunately the new Cellar 2 app no longer allows you to list your wine cellar by vintage as the original app did. Only drink from/by, grape, price, producer & rating. Hopefully this will be corrected in future app upgrades.

**Developer response:** Sorting by vintage is still possible - if you swipe up on the sort by... dialog you will see “Vintage” at the bottom of the list. We will restore the scroll indicator as soon as we can so that it’s more obvious that the full list is not immediately visible!

Neues ist nicht immer besser. Ich kann nur Verschlechterungen erkennen: Etikett lässt sich nicht vergrößern, Listenansicht ist umständlicher, alte Optik war ansprechender! Eingabe gewöhnungsbedürftig, wo liegen eigentlich die Vorteile?
Preis von daher eine Frechheit! Ärgere mich über den Kauf!
Werde beim Original bleiben!!!

**Developer response:** Es tut uns leid, dass MW2 Sie enttäuscht hat. In MW2 gibt es mehrere wichtige Änderungen, darunter mehr Optionen beim Erstellen eines Weins und die Möglichkeit, eine Bocksbeutl-Form zu verwenden - die wir speziell für unsere deutschen Benutzer entworfen haben! - und die Möglichkeit, runde Etiketten auf Flaschen zu verwenden.

Wenn Sie die neuen Funktionen natürlich nicht möchten, können Sie bei MW1 bleiben. Wir werden jedoch in Zukunft weitere Funktionen zu MW2 hinzufügen, und wir planen nicht, MW1 weiter zu aktualisieren.

MW1 vor 4 Wochen gekauft, jetzt wieder für ein Update MW2 bezahlen, das offensichtlich wenig mehr bietet? Basis-Info wie vol% Alkohol fehlt weiterhin. Das Scannen der Etiketten ist unterirdisch.

Bitte beachten Sie, dass ABV / Vol% auf der dritten Registerkarte verfügbar ist, wenn Sie einen Wein bearbeiten. Wir haben auch neue Funktionen hinzugefügt, darunter das Bocksbeutl, mehr Optionen für die Flaschenfarben und die Möglichkeit, runde Etiketten auf Flaschen zu verwenden.

Weitere Funktionen sind in MW2 verfügbar, während für MW1 keine wesentlichen Updates geplant sind.

I’ve tried them all and this is by far the best app. Both functionally and visually, I enjoy the process of entering my wines in everytime. Don’t waste your time trying other apps this is the perfect solution to store, track and just glance and scroll through your collection.

War seid langem auf der Suche nach einer Wein-App.
Meine Weine 2 APP ist gut zu handhaben. Sie ist übersichtlich und vorallendingen finde ich toll, dass man Backups sichern u. speichern kann. So kann man den „Weinkeller“ immer wieder herstellen bei einem evtl. neuen Handykauf.

I’ve used the app for the last 8 years, since the first release, and it is by far the best solution to manage a wine collection, large or small. I wouldn’t know what to drink or when to drink it without the information Cellar 2 provides 👍❤️

Ich kann die App sehr empfehlen: Ansprechendes Design, tolle Verwaltung des Weinkellers, einfach zu bedienen und absolut fehlerfrei. Hier haben sich die Entwickler mal richtig Gedanken gemacht. Die App ist ganz eindeutig ihren Preis wert.

Nutze die App schon seit der ersten Generation. Die Neue bringt Verbesserungen, die ich in der alten vermisst habe.
Vergleichbares habe ich bisher nicht wirklich gefunden und hoffe, dass es Meine Weine noch lange geben wird.

Bella e completa applicazione per organizzare ed avere sotto osservazione la propria collezione vini..fatta veramente bene e si può migliorare con qualche ritocco e aggiunta ...mi è’ parsa semplice da usare ,molto utile e godibile..bravi🤙👌😁.
