## What is CellArc?

CellArc is a battery-habit workbench for iPhone owners who want more context than a single battery percentage.

The app helps you review charging sessions, thermal exposure, daily drain, trip needs, and habit patterns that affect long-term lithium-ion health. Version 2.1 adds Battery Action Plan, a ranked coach that turns those signals into the next best things to do now.

Core tools:
- Battery dashboard with current state and habit trend
- Battery Action Plan with ranked next steps, severity tags, and evidence links
- Charging session log from plug-in to unplug, with a charge-speed trend chart that surfaces early capacity-loss signals
- Thermal timeline with threshold callouts
- Longevity score based on heat, high charge time, deep discharge, and cycle patterns
- Charge profile coach with practical habit recommendations
- Best-time-to-charge and model-calibrated trip planning helpers
- App-hog session labels for user-recorded drain comparisons
- Offline Battery Field Guide with 22 visual reference plates
- Long-storage reminder and lifetime energy views
- Offline charger reference: every Apple adapter from 5W through MagSafe and 27W USB-C PD, with USB Power Delivery tier explanations

CellArc is honest about iOS limits. It estimates trends from signals available to public apps and explains where iOS keeps deeper device data private. Battery Action Plan cites Apple battery guidance and UIDevice public API documentation directly in the app.

Battery logs and settings stay on your device. CellArc does not request protected device permissions, does not pair with external accessories, and does not require a network connection.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 2.3 — 2026-08-21

Adds Battery Action Plan, a ranked on-device coach that turns charging, thermal, drain, and trip signals into practical next steps. The update also expands the offline battery reference workflow.

### 2.2 — 2026-08-08

Version 2.2 adds Longevity Scenario Studio with a local 14-day baseline, adjustable habit plans, annualized projections, confidence, one-week tests, share summaries, and a categorized Power Lab with nineteen specialist tools

This release also refreshes the native iPhone and iPad experience, accessibility, privacy boundaries, and App Store screenshots. There are no accounts, subscriptions, advertising, tracking, or developer-operated services.

### 2.1 — 2026-06-30

**Battery Action Plan** - Home now opens with a ranked coach that turns heat, charge band, runtime, drain, and charging-session history into next steps.

**Battery Field Guide** - Settings now includes a bundled offline guide with 22 visual reference plates covering heat, charging, travel runtime, low-power planning, cable checks, and iOS API limits.

**Evidence links** - The new action card links directly to Apple battery guidance and public UIDevice API documentation so the recommendations stay transparent.

**Clear severity tags** - Actions are labeled Now, Important, Watch, or Info so the next step is obvious at a glance.

**More test coverage** - Added unit tests for hot charging, high charge dwell, empty-history behavior, and calm-history maintenance guidance.

### 2.0.1 — 2026-06-24

This update sharpens the interface: the iPad layout now uses a centered, comfortable reading width instead of stretching edge to edge, so every screen reads as a clean column. iPhone is unchanged; still fully on-device.

### 2.0 — 2026-06-21

CellArc 2.0 — a pro upgrade that turns your battery time-series into longevity intelligence, still 100% offline.

• Live Forecast: real-time time-to-full and time-to-empty from your recent rate, with a slow-top-off caveat above 80%.
• Charge Coach: percent of time in the 20–80% sweet spot, daily "kept under 80%" streaks, and a per-charge stress curve.
• Drain Rhythm: drain rate by hour of day, your worst hours, and a screen-on vs idle split.
• Charge Analyzer: a charging-discipline score (speed, overnight, deep-start, overcharge frequency).
• Heat Exposure: an Arrhenius-weighted heat-stress score and a hot-while-charging warning.
• An opt-in charge-limit reminder and a one-page PDF battery report.

Honest by design: iOS doesn't expose true capacity, so figures are clearly estimates. No account, no network — everything stays on your device.
