### 3/5 — Cell Quiz

*2025-10-08*

It makes more sense to have the cell name at the top of the screen and then the pictures toward the middle/bottom of the screen.

### 5/5 — Add slides for differential stimulator

*2025-09-30*

The app is excellent and enjoyable to learn about Myeloid and Lymphoid cell lineage morphologies but when perform or encounter different slides for diff it’s a completely different experience than just observation and learn the cells

### 5/5 — Fun

*2025-02-16*

Fun low stakes quiz that gives me a break from medical school but is still very helpful. I wish there were things like this for more fields

### 2/5 — Ok but needs improvement

*2024-10-23*

As many people have said, there should be an option to remove the timer. The test also needs to be more random. It seems I always start with normal WBCs then, it finally moves on to new/abnormal cells when I’m 30 seconds in. Because of this, there are certain cells you will NOT be able to practice because the timer will run out before you get to it. The timer can also make can have you make simple mistakes. After a while, monos and lymph’s started to look the same, as I was frantically trying to get to other types of cells. Not a great study tool once you learn basic white blood cells. I’m assuming the developers don’t care since they have ignored this complaint for 5+ years.

### 1/5 — Quiz is broken or rigged

*2024-10-11*

It takes too long for the quiz to move to the next question after you get a right answer. It will also display duplicate images but only one will count as correct, making you being right or wrong in your selection up to random chance; this occurs with the giant thrombocyte question a lot.

### 1/5 — Ridiculous timer, no quizzes for specific cells

*2024-02-17*

Whoever programmed the timer for the CellQuiz needs to be fired from future study guides. It is not helpful whatsoever to give people less than two seconds to look at up to 9 images and rapid fire a correct choice. 90-95% of the time I am making mistakes because I’m in a rush to beat the timer so I can unlock the cells I ACTUALLY want to practice (hematopoietic cell lineages, for example). What’s worse, these immature and abnormal cell types require close inspection for the presence of things like nucleoli or Dolhe bodies that are not readily apparent in certain cell pictures. There is NO need to be rushing students and penalizing them with time. It would be one thing if we were able to quiz ourselves on specific cell types, but we are not. You end up repeating the same basic cells over and over and wasting a lot of time. This would have been such an easy option to implement but the app designers were too busy building a hazing program to care. This isn’t Elden Ring, you’re teaching current and future healthcare workers.

### 1/5 — Timer issues

*2019-07-25*

I keep heated blanket and not eaten by the end zone I need to remove the timer on the quiz. Why do people think they should have been in my room? Stop. I'm not sure about that. Kept downloading 3 times and still cannot open the app on my phone. Very disappointed.

### 4/5 — Timer issues

*2019-05-30*

Need to remove the timer on the quiz. Other than that it’s awesome

### 2/5 — Needs improvement

*2018-09-12*

It would be very helpful if you could be quizzed per section. For example.. hematopoeisis (erythropoesis) or hematopoeisis (monopoiesis). We are learning the cells by sections in class and it’s confusing when the quiz asks them all. Thank you.

### 4/5 — Good study tool, but...

*2018-09-09*

This is a helpful study tool, I really like the quiz function. But I wish there was more options for that. For instance, it would be nice to have an untimed mode, so you could just practice the morphology. Additionally, it would be nice if there could be a few types of tests, like the basic WBC/RBC morphology currently available, and another one for cell types seen in malignancies, featuring Blasts and what not. Currently, one of my biggest struggles is just correctly ID’ing the maturation stages of the RBCs and WBCs, so being able to work on that would be helpful.
