### 5/5 — Truly Extraordinary

*2025-06-08, version 2.0.1*

As a biology graduate 30 years ago who never was a professional biologist, it is amazing how much knowledge became clearer and coalesced for me to see cellular structure in this new way.

### 5/5 — Stunning

*2025-06-04, version v1.0.3*

Extraordinary experience with mind blowing detail. Looking forward to the evolution of this app on all platforms.

### 5/5 — Impressive

*2025-05-09, version v1.0.3*

One of the best visualizations ever.

### 5/5 — A beautifully done visualization of a cell

*2025-05-02, version v1.0.3*

I really was awe-inspired by seeing all the atoms in this cell (300 million) which makes you appreciate the intricacies of about the smallest prokaryotic cells. I’d love to see a future version with eukaryotic cells too!

### 5/5 — Very detailed

*2025-04-28, version v1.0.3*

What an amazing (and very detailed) experience. I’d love to see more like it!

### 5/5 — কৃতীকে

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2025-03-22, version v1.0.3*

This is amazing i can’t believe how much work the develpers have put into this. And for this to be free!!!

### 5/5 — Accurate and impressive tour of a 3d cell

*2025-01-31, version v1.0.3*

I’ve been following this app for the past year and it’s really neat to see the evolution. The tours are very informative and easy to follow!
As a person with a basic grasp on computer graphics, having atom-level resolution with butter-smooth interaction on a mobile device(!!) is a seriously impressive achievement! Would love to experience it on the Vision Pro at some point.

Curious to see what cones next!

### 5/5 — This was absolutely amazing!!

*2025-01-20, version 1.0.6*

The journey this thing takes you on is absolutely amazing!
I had no idea going this deep into a cell is possible. The Apple Vision Pro makes this possible.
If this is where education is going, I am all in .

### 5/5 — It’s a new world

*2025-01-14*

Amazing

### 5/5 — Amazing visualization

*2024-11-15, version v1.0.3*

I can’t believe how well this runs on a phone! It looks fantastic and the complexity is incredible!

### 5/5 — The best Apple Vision Pro app

*2024-11-10, version 1.0.6*

not just the best app, it’s literally the only good app for the Apple Vision Pro

### 5/5 — Fun app!

*2024-11-02, version 1.0.6*

Really great use of the Apple Vision Pro! One of the better apps that I’ve used! I would love to see more of what they have created!

### 5/5 — Great app

*2024-11-01, version 1.0.6*

This is this is the app people dreamed about using in high school 20 years ago

### 5/5 — Awe-inspiring Dive into Microbiology

*2024-10-31, version v1.0.3*

Amazing level of detail on a subject that is typically oversimplified. I personally appreciated the balance between technical terms and and language understood by a non-specialized audience. Beautiful graphics and excelling interactiveness. Would give 10 stars if I could. Can’t wait to see what else the developers have in store!!!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Very BAD

*2025-01-18, version v1.0.3*

BAD

### 1/5 — Don’t waste your time

*2024-09-28, version 1.0.4*

It’s buggy and low framerate and it’s weird that it’s a 3-D through a window thing instead of using a volume.

### 1/5 — Tiny window

*2024-03-03, version 1.0.1*

Small window and teaches you nothing. Don’t even know what I am looking looking at

### 2/5 — Cool visuals, but the explanations are rough

*2025-11-15, version 1.1.2*

Be skeptical of the information provided as they are misleading. ATP synthase is described backwards, it makes ATP using proton flow, not the other way around. Great concept but the biology needs a fact check

### 2/5 — Good 3D, Poor Variety

*2025-05-09, version v1.0.3*

Although the 3D representation of a coccal type bacterium is good, that and a description of protein synthesis by ribosomes, “RNA” and tRNA are the extent of the current contents.

### 4/5 — More Content

*2025-09-30, version 1.1.1*

Great app, but they should make more cells. It would be interesting to see something like this but with computers instead of cells.

### 4/5 — Beautiful and useful!

*2024-09-07, version v1.0.1*

Great visualization of a bacteria cell. Will use in my class!

### 4/5 — Great app!

*2024-07-13, version 1.0.4*

Great app to explore the biology of the cell wish there were more features to explore

### 4/5 — Phenomenal, but a bit nauseating. Download this!

*2024-02-13, version 1.0.1*

Definitely, some work needs to be done on the renderer to make it more responsive to head movements. The noise introduced by the renderer is also very nauseating. Otherwise, this is an amazing application. That really shows what this device can do. I can’t wait to see future updates.

### 5/5 — Amazing detail

*2026-02-06, version 2.1.1*

Very cool app!

## Most praised reviews (9 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Life

*2025-11-22, version 2.1.1*

Beautiful

### 5/5 — CellWalk’s Brain Cell

*2025-09-20, version 1.1*

That seems like comes from the bacteria brains that have a very strong immune system that can fight against viruses cells in the brain.

### 5/5 — Stunning and informative

*2025-09-15, version v1.0.3*

For a non-scientist, it is breathtaking to see inside a human cell with such beauty, clarity and resolution 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

### 5/5 — Beautiful work.

*2025-09-03, version v1.0.3*

Simply marvellous to hold the functions of life in the palm of your hand and get really close.

### 5/5 — Really cool app

*2025-08-07, version v1.0.3*

The best cell exploration I’ve seen on my iPhone

### 5/5 — Has great potential

*2025-08-01, version v1.0.3*

Amazing work. Please keep developing further, keeping the scale of the molecules accurate

### 5/5 — Beautiful Visualizations

*2025-07-13, version v1.0.3*

My undergrad is in biochemistry, graduate degrees in microbiology/ biotechnology, and I’m a self-taught software engineer. This is such an awesome resource for visualizing cellular morphology (structure). It shows how dense cells are compared to traditional textbook depictions.

I hope in the not too distant future we can get an update that depicts a minimal eukaryotic cell. The smallest I believe is about 25x as many base pairs of DNA.

### 5/5 — Wonderful Short Educational Experience

*2025-06-29, version v1.0.3*

Beautiful and educational little experience. Fascinating information and references for you to explore more. Check it out, it’s free and you will learn a thing or two.

### 5/5 — Amazing

*2025-06-11, version 1.0.6*

Yes
