That’s an absolute no go for me and make this App trash. ### 1/5 — False advertising! *2022-07-10, version 3.7* Disappointed. Misleading marketing. Was told I could listen ad-free, for free. I also wanted to the what’s playing info. They wait til you get signed in (which wasn’t easy, btw) then what they don’t tell you is you get basic, which I expected. But you can’t listen to your preferred station (Celtic pub) unless you pay. Only a different station which I’m not interested in. The web based sign in is for Celticradio.one but the app is Celticradio.net. Different logins, passwords, etc. Took me a while to figure it out. I had an account already, so it just told me my email was already used. I figured it would be easier on the web to auto fill, since the app won’t let you. Didn’t realize they were wholly different sites. Now I have an account in two places, and I still can’t use the app. I’m going back to TuneIn Radio. It’s easier to use, but the website does let me see what’s playing. Just not the app unless you subscribe. Right now you can only access Highlander Radio from the basic listening options. ### 1/5 — Messed up app *2019-11-08* This app is confusing, especially for iPad users. If you try to log in with Facebook, the Facebook window is upside down -- and stays upside down, 180-degrees opposite the background screen, which makes it impossible to type anything into. It also doesn't work with one's remembered settings. My Facebook login info is saved to my iPad's "keychain", but this app can't access that. I had to physically find my FB info and type it in manually. Once I managed to log in with my FB settings, I was then taken to my profile screen, and could NOT leave my profile screen. There was nothing to click, no means to get off the screen & simply listen to the basic service. I ended up having to close the app and reopen it, to try signing up a basic, free account just to listen for a tryout.... ...and what the HELL do you people need my phone number for????? I'm not entering credit card info at that point. All I want to do is try the station out & your website doesn't work on mobile. That doesn't entitle you to any private info, period. then after signing up, tried to click "basic" & had to sign in AGAIN, and AGAIN....ye gods, all I want to do is listen to music. There's too many other good, working apps & streaming services out there to go through all this. Nope. Deleted. Beta-test your app with more than just employees, folks, and stop requiring us to give you phone numbers & "real names" just for wanting to try your basic service. **Developer response:** Hello Zenfrodo, we are sorry of the problems you are experiencing in using this App. Since your review was a long time ago let me suggest that you use the latest version of the App which I believe fixed the facebook issues. While we may not have the best App, I think if you give a listen you will quickly discover why so many people tune in. Will be happy to take any follow up questions or comments. Esp when this is claimed to be add free ### 2/5 — Can no longer log in to the app on iPhone iOS 17.2 *2024-01-10* The email and password text boxes are cover by the logo and are inaccessible. So cannot log in to my account. App hasn’t seen an update in 4 years. Why do you need to know location? ### 3/5 — Great Music - Bad App *2018-04-09* I’ve been a premium member of Celtic radio network since 2012 and have never been able to get premium stations to play with this app. My login info that works for the website, does not work with the app. **Developer response:** Hi Amber, thank you for the comment and we hope to address your concerns. Please contact us through either the App or our website and we can look up your member name and make sure that your App account is setup properly. Also, we have just released a major upgrade that provides for new features and many bug fixes. But, that was the problem, it was difficult to listen to when mobile unless you used Live365. Finally, I can listen to my favourite genre of music on the go! Thank you Celtic Radio. I've only been using the app for a few hours but it does have a nice clean design. I’ve been following the progression of releases and it keeps getting better with each release. Music is absolutely beautiful and a number of niche channels to choose from. The app has a number of features that is unique to music Apps and you can even make an online request. Beautiful colors and feel it is like having your own Celtic station available 24/7. My favorite is Celtic Moon and is perfect for getting to sleep at night. Ocean waves, birds chirping even Thunder and Rain storms mixed in with the music. I listen to the music on this application every night and I am pleased with the great music. This latest update is very glitchy as in the celtic knot in the loading screen does not disappear and the volume bar extends to the very edge of the screen which makes it very difficult to change the volume on screen. I have been wanting a feature that shows the whole title of the song rather than just a portion.
