## What is Cemantik?

Everyday, find secret words before time runs out. To do so, propose as many answers as you would like: each word gets scored on a scale from -100% to 100% based on how close to the secret word it is. Find a secret word by figuring out what your best words have in common.

The similarity between two words is not about their spelling but about their context. The scores were computed based on thousands of texts for a total of billions of words from which we were able to tell which words tend to appear together often. That is why a word and its opposite may be "close" in Cemantik.

The secret words to guess are often quite simple and well known. They are singular, unless their plural is much more common.

• There are several secret words to guess everyday, varying in difficulty, both in English and in French.

• The weekly game with "hidden scores" makes it even harder to find the secret word by hiding all scores and progress bars.

• Earn points by playing regularly and by finding secret words. You can then exchange them for clues.

• Explore the statistics to see how many players were able to find the different secret words and in how many attempts on average.

• Share your victory diploma with your friends to show them you were able to find a secret word before them or in fewer attempts.

• Unlock achievements and be ranked in leaderboards with Game Center.

• Team up with all the other players to find a secret word in community games! In this mode, you get to see which words the other players have tested already before you test a word yourself.

• Play real-time multiplayer with your friends and versus your rivals: the words you test are shared with your team, whereas your opponents' progress shows without revealing their words. This feature is for subscribers only.

• Challenge your friends to find your own secret words. As a subscriber, you can create private custom games for your multiplayer room.


Games end at midnight, French time.


Cemantik requires permanent access to the Internet to test your words.

J’ai commencé de jouer il y a plus d’un an et ce jeu rend addict ! Tous les jours de nouveaux mots à trouver et on s’amuse à chercher à l’aveugle 1 seul mot grâce aux principaux mots de la langue française à l’aide d’outils tels barres de progression ou pourcentage et également des mots bonus gratuits qui permettent de savoir si on est proche ou éloigné du mot secret ! En le trouvant on gagne des points qui permettent d’utiliser des mots bonus en plus des gratuits. J’ai personnellement pris l’abonnement annuel pour avoir un mot en plus chaque jour et un coup en plus (2ème mot) sur le jeu communautaire. Je recommande! En cas de souci technique l’assistance est au top et fait au mieux pour régler les problèmes. Je n’ai pas encore réussi à rejoindre une partie privée mais ce serait avec plaisir !

Pour le jeu communautaire,  il serait plus agréable pour le joueur que l’on puisse mettre un peu plus de deux mots. Cela donnerait envie d’y participer plus souvent  … 
La possibilité d’au moins 5 mots seraient bienvenue !

Comment expliquer que alimentation soit coté sous zéro alors qu’on que salade est coté plus de 900 ?  La salade n’est-elle pas un aliment ?

Jeu au top et très addictif 
Dommage que le panel ne prenne pas en compte le singulier pluriel au même niveau 
Ce qui peut être parfois source d’erreur ou nous envoie sur une mauvaise piste 
Sur le dernier mot a trouver en temps qu’abonné le mot était sondage au singulier je l’avais trouvé au pluriel je suis donc partie sur d’autres pistes j’ai fais plus de 480 mots en étant sure que c’était autre chose 
A me rendre dingue 🤪

« Le jeu est bien, tout ce que j’en attendais. Depuis quelques temps une pub revolut apparait, impossible de revenir au jeu ensuite. En relançant la page la pub revient quasi instantanément et impossible de revenir au jeu à nouveau. »
Peu après, le développeur a corrigé, l’app re-fonctionne parfaitement! Super réactivé

Merci pour cette super appli, à laquelle je propose 2 améliorations : 
- attribuer le numéro de l’ordre dans lequel on a proposé les mots
- pour le classement : classer par nombre de mots plutôt que par ordre chronologique (quelqu’un qui a découvert le mot en 2 coups à 21h serait donc mieux classé que celui qui l’a trouvé en 100 coups à 7h du matin, ce qui reflèterait mieux la performance)

Cette application est une merveille pour nous encourager à réfléchir et pour réveiller notre vocabulaire. 
Ça fesais longtemps que je cherchais une application de ce genre. Merci 🙏 

Comme je suis gourmande et accro à ce concept ce matin j’avais déjà trouver les trois mots … malheureusement faut attendre 24h , je sais que on peut payer un abonnement pour débloquer une autre grille à jouer et pour avoir des modes multi joueurs et pas cher en + "0,99 centimes la semaine ou 9,99€ l’année"! Donc je me dis pourquoi pas, c’est vraiment cool 👍
