It is feature-rich, user-friendly, and provides an excellent overall banking experience. However, the registration process is quite lengthy and can be simplified. Nowadays, many customers do not carry their ATM cards and are also reluctant to visit the branch to obtain a branch token for registration. If customers could register using their KYC details or through an OTP sent to their Aadhaar-linked mobile number, it would make the onboarding process much easier and more convenient. Additionally, the final steps involving the selection of a secret image and security questions could be removed or simplified to enhance the user experience. Overall, the App is an excellent initiative and offers a seamless digital banking experience. The same sluggish behaviour exists on the website too, so clearly the problem is at the core, not the device. In 2026, when every bank is improving speed, accessibility, and user experience, Central Bank has completely failed to deliver even basic performance. Their tagline “Cent eez – Ab Life Aasaan” feels like a joke because this app makes life harder, not easier. Instead of retaining customers, this kind of experience pushes people to shift to other banks with reliable digital services. A good UI means nothing if the app can’t perform.
