### 3/5 — like the idea, but struggling with buggy-ness

*2023-12-29, version 3.1.7*

I’m just starting to use the app, but the chat function always seems to have difficulty loading for me. I have to exit the app completely before I can send a message that I’ve had to retype 3 times.

### 2/5 — service is excellent but app is terrible

*2023-05-16*

The app reloads every time you navigate to another app. Makes it impossible to use! Slow as well.

### 5/5 — Lifesaver

*2018-01-09, version 0.3.4*

I had a deep cut on my thumb and Dr Ben & team heroically came to my rescue to make sure I got stitched up and on the road to recovery. Now I’m using this very thumb to peck out this review. Thanks Eden!

### 5/5 — Amazing service

*2017-11-08, version 0.3.3*

Eden Health has saved me SO much time (and $). The PA I dealt with was so knowledgeable, helpful and quick! I will definitely be using Eden for all my healthcare needs! Thank you!

### 5/5 — Amazingly helpful

*2017-11-07, version 0.3.2*

Eden Health is helping navigate the increasingly more complicated world my benefits as they relate to healthcare. Without them I'd have no idea where to turn to for my healthcare needs. They help me find the best treatment, covered by my insurance, that is also affordable. The time saved alone is worth it! And that's before you consider the health benefits!!

### 5/5 — Most efficient healthcare app

*2017-10-18, version 0.3.1*

I have been using Eden Health for a few months and am extremely pleased. It has never been easier to contact my doctor. The other day I realized I needed a prescription renewed ASAP and had not scheduled an appointment. Most doctors would make you come in or sit for 20 min on hold with their office. With this app, I simply took a screenshot of the medication I needed and received a renewal in less than 5 min. I was able to pick up my prescription within the hour. I also received a flu shot at work by Eden’s wonderful PA. I normally put off going in for a flu shot because of my busy schedule. This is the first one I’ve gotten in years because they came to me! Truly amazed at the care team and efficiency of their app. Highly highly recommend!!

### 1/5 — Unresponsive

*2026-01-23, version 4.5.11*

Their support line never has anyone ready to answer. I spoke to a representative at the Centivo Insurance branch and they even said they were having trouble reaching someone at the Centivo Care branch. I emailed them 3 days ago for a call back and the email was not answered/nor did I receive a call back.

My issue was that they said I could not access the Centivo Care telehealth services until February 1st despite my summary of benefits stating that my coverage began on January 1st. Disappointed with the lack of support especially since I had ran out of my medication and was looking for a fast/convenient way of speaking to a physician through their Centivo Care telehealth services.

### 1/5 — When trad healthcare is the better option, you know it’s bad

*2023-11-14, version 3.1.7*

This company is a startup that raised a $100 million and still can’t figure it out. The brick and mortar concept is a bait-and-switch that lures you in with actually good doctors and NPs in person and then immediately passes you off to PAs and random vaguely invested clinicians who know nothing about you and will only meet with you via the app and charges you for every single text communication that goes through … even when there is no diagnosis or medical ask delivered. Need to know if it’s a “come into the office” or “talk over video” visit? They’ll charge you. Need to ask for a refill (which they only nonsensically prescribe on a month to month basis, even when it’s not a controlled substance), they’ll charge you for a full visit, even if you have zero human or app interaction. (How is this legal???) There seems to be a general “idk y that happened *shrug*” attitude from billing and support. It must be bad to tell you you’re better off at established medical providers and doctors… which is its own kind of scam. But stick to the doctors. At least when those guys data harvest from you, it might be on the news someday.

### 1/5 — Technical issues spoil good healthcare

*2023-05-31, version 3.1.0*

Recently the app has disruptive internal updates. I can’t read my messages until it finishes installing, but if I leave the app (including going to the control center), progress is reset. On slow cell data it will just stop and never finish. I wasn’t able to communicate with a provider when I was running late.

### 1/5 — Privacy Excessive Tracking/IPhone Privacy Report

*2022-01-20, version 3.0.11*

Used the app for the first time to send messages and book an appointment. After checking the IPhone Privacy Report, I was shocked that a medical app containing sensitive information was second on my iPhone privacy reports list apps tracking right behind Facebook. Let’s just say I was shocked to find four dozen items on the tracking report including what appear to be beacons, pixels and I can’t say definitely but it appeared to be reading the browser history (some shopping and other general websites that would be inexplicable on this report) and also reaching out to Twitter and Facebook api. If you read apples explanation it’s seems this type of information can be used to build profiles.

I did the similar test on a similar NYU Portal and there were less than half as many and the items and those items made sencse tk ne et connecting to google as an example which is probably hosting. On top of that they don’t have 2 Factor authentication and creepily the apps stays logged in even if you force close it . Time for me ti delete the app and revaluate.

Let’s see if the developers have the decency to response how they explain this particularly what appears to be reading the browser history and how they will address these concerns.

### 1/5 — Does not recommend

*2022-01-09, version 3.0.11*

You’d be better off asking google for help than Eden Health.

### 1/5 — Review

*2021-03-08, version 3.0.4*

Invasive privacy policy, weird in-app updates, frequent “technical issues” that make the app pointless for work check-in

### 1/5 — Not compatible wit iPhone Dark Mode

*2020-03-27, version 2.0.2*

Date selection doesn’t work in Dark Mode, now I am stuck at a registration error with no recourse to correct. Terrible user experience.

### 2/5 — restart bug

*2024-06-06, version 3.3.0*

it’s infuriating how it restarts when you switch to another app and back

### 2/5 — visits are only for Chicago , Boston, New York

*2024-04-14, version 3.3.0*

With the regional limitations this app is only useful for refills and video consults. They cannot check what’s wrong with you over video unless it’s something obvious you get from questions

### 2/5 — terribly buggy app, marginally better healthcare experience

*2023-10-16*

The app is terrible. Super buggy. Doesn’t remember anything when you switch apps. Really hard to use. The actual healthcare services are marginally better than old world medical offices, which is a very low bar. They have primary care doctors and physical therapists who are good and they do very minimal coordination for you. They don’t make any appointments for you. The chat feature is neat but it’s kind of awkward that all of your chats with all your different providers are all in the same chat.

### 5/5 — Love Eden Health

*2022-12-29, version 3.1.0*

Employers, this is an amazing service that will help relieve your employees of the stress of having to spend hours in line at urgent care for something easily diagnosable through simple text or video call. And saves employees from trying to Google an answer to a medical question without the help of a professional.

### 5/5 — The BEST

*2019-12-20, version 1.3.3*

Super convenient and easy to use. For someone who’s busy and doesn’t want to make an appt to go to the dr, you can very easily talk to one of Eden Healths doctors who will diagnose and prescribe what you may need. Never going through the traditional way of scheduling appointments again unless I HAVE to be seen in person.

### 5/5 — My first try w/ telehealth — a great service!

*2019-12-16, version 1.2.9*

I had an impromptu checkup on a weekend morning and it was so easy. I just opened the app and started talking to a health professional. Very easy, yet very thorough! I felt like I was getting “real” care, even though it was on my phone. Very lovely people, too. I’ll definitely be relying on Eden moving forward.

### 5/5 — Life saver

*2019-03-15, version 1.1.1*

Eden Health has saved me on so many occasions! I seriously don’t know what I would do without this incredible care team. They are so accessible and have the best bedside manner I’ve ever experienced. Whenever I’m feeling sick or need a refill on a medication, they help me out immediately. The turnaround time on getting treatment is so quick and this experience just doesn’t compare to a regular doctors office. I love Eden :)

### 5/5 — Game changer

*2019-01-25, version 1.1.1*

I was about to look up my symptoms on google to see if maybe I had strep. Stopped myself and tried out the app. Dr was super knowledgeable and kind. Asked me for a picture of back of my throat and told me I likely just had the cold. Rest and fluids. Can’t tell you how many times I’ve actually gone to the dr for what was a cold. Great to have this reassurance I was on right course.

### 5/5 — Eden health is a life saver!

*2018-10-17, version 1.0.2*

I have used Eden health on multiple occasions and it is amazing. It is so convenient instead of dealing with doctors offices and helps save you money. The PD, Annelie showed me this application and helped make my life so much easier. I definitely recommend 10/10!

### 5/5 — Has completely changed healthcare for me

*2018-09-26, version 1.0.2*

I’ve had great healthcare at two previous companies but having access to Edenhealth on top of my normal health insurance (UHC Oxford) has been a complete game changer.

Nurses Shane Jordan and Annelie Rodinger have been available at ANY time of day, prescribing me medication on allergic reactions to being there when I even had a more serious vehicular incident. They have routinely checked up on me and the time they will spend to ensure any and all questions are answered is what I had always wanted from normal doctors visits but never got.

I recently took advantage of booking an appointment in person and was further wowed but the service and convenience of having access to edenhealth. HIGHLY encourage this service and i can’t wait for them to expand access to hopefully all healthcare providers very soon.

### 5/5 — Absolutely incredible.

*2018-09-15, version 1.0.1*

Every single one of the doctors at Eden Health are friendly, informative, helpful, and kind. I have used the app time and time again and am always 100% satisfied and above all, relieved. The office in NYC is clean, accommodating, and comfortable. 10/10, A+

### 5/5 — Eden Health is how modern healthcare should be.

*2018-07-06, version 0.5.0*

The Eden Health experience is ideal. If you work in HR and you’re reading this now, go ahead and get more info on Eden Health, your co-workers will thank you.

It’s extremely reassuring to know you can text a licensed physician at any time. They’ve helped me countless times, including last minute prescriptions I needed it the day-of.

Can’t speak more highly of the physicians and how helpful they are at the drop of the hat. Do yourself a favor, honey!

### 5/5 — Effective, Simple, and Convenient

*2018-05-03, version 0.4.0*

Instead of going through scheduling and enduring a trip to the doctor’s office, saved about 90 minutes round trip and just hopped on Eden. Gave them my symptoms, got diagnosed, and within hours swung by the pharmacy to grab a prescription. Not sure how much more you could ask for.
