The find care directory is a helpful feature that allows me to easily find in-network doctors. Yes this is my experience and review but I will say working at a large company and the vast majority have had nothing but problems with Centivo. I can’t tell you how many bills they have coded wrong and have had to reprocess them. Their communication has been absolutely horrible in terms of understanding why it takes 7 months to process 1 bill. That’s not speaking for every single bill I’ve gotten but regardless it’s insane. We all know insurance is a scam in America just be careful who you choose. ### 1/5 — Centivo Care Branch Unresponsive *2026-01-29, version 1.18* Their branch, Centivo Care, support line never has anyone ready to answer. I spoke to a representative at the Centivo Insurance branch and they even said they were having trouble reaching someone at the Centivo Care branch. I emailed them days ago for a call back and the email was not answered/nor did I receive a call back. My issue was that they said I could not access the Centivo Care telehealth services until February 1st despite my summary of benefits stating that my coverage began early January. Disappointed with the lack of support especially since I had ran out of my medication and was looking for a fast/ convenient way of speaking to a physician through their Centivo Care telehealth services. It’s a little frustrating that the insurance branch can’t reach anyone within their own firm and that there was essentially no support for me from the Insurance side except to give me a number that I’ve called multiple times without an answer. ### 1/5 — This app and company are trash *2025-04-06, version 1.18* They refuse to cover any part of any in or out-of-network costs. They don’t respect their own co-pays and out-of-pocket maximums. The listed in-network providers don’t accept their coverage. They try to negotiate with providers and when they ask for too much of a reduced bill and can’t agree, Centivo will refuse to pay entirely, leaving you with a $40,000 bill. This is the absolutely scummiest scam provider of insurance you can ever get. Please save your premiums for a company that actually cares about health over profit. ### 1/5 — Would not recommend to a friend *2025-02-04, version 1.17* Info isn’t helpful. Provider info is missing and/or inaccurate. Responses from human in messaging center is not correct. ### 1/5 — App doesn’t work *2024-11-12, version 1.16* Open an Orange Screen that has CENTIVO banner, and never moves past it. Sometimes it does, but not usually. ### 1/5 — Does not work! *2020-08-19, version 1.3.3* I have notified IT multiple times asking for help. I cannot look at more than one item in the without being kicked off and needing to sign back in. My deductible bar has not changed at all over the last 8 months of being part of this insurance company despite paying multiple bills on time so I’m not sure if that’s the app not updating properly or if Centivo as a whole is a scam. Who doesn’t have a member website sign on nowadays? My spouse is our primary subscriber so that might explain why, but I can’t see anything about our deductible and how much has been met, or other totals. It’s very bare bones and lacks any real substance. Even if my husband is the subscriber, as an adult I should be able to see those totals as well. Obviously not his claims, but the deductible progress is so basic. I love the company and their philosophy but the website and app is essentially useless unless you’re the subscriber and that’s very annoying. **Developer response:** Hello, we are so happy that you resonate with our philosophy. We had a brief bug that was impacting our spending summary section, around the time that you wrote your review, that has since been fixed. Can you please check again and let us know if you are still not able to see your deductible amounts? We appreciate your feedback. ### 2/5 — Bugs bugs *2020-10-31, version 1.3.3* For iphone xr, if you hit the search button the search bar will hide all the way at the top of the phone with no way of typing into it. Cant go back from one screen to the other one. I have easy access to my ID card and can find a doctor in the in-app directory. I can also see referrals from my primary care physician instantaneously and get questions answered about my coverage and claims via chat with a representative. So quick and so easy.
