In contrast, the previous application (CentMobile) was functioning efficiently with minimal problems. Rather than launching a new app, it might have been more beneficial to update and enhance the existing CentMobile app to ensure a more stable and user-friendly experience. ### 4/5 — Govt investment schemes *2025-03-12, version 7.21* Am unable to see govt investment schemes option in the ios app. Please rectify it quickly as it is very much required to check the account details under that category. ### 2/5 — Poor Performance *2024-07-23, version 7.16* I have been using this app for more than a year. Comparing to other banking apps it’s very poor every other week I am facing some error. I was planning to pay Gold loan by using this app, thank god I haven’t done. I am trying to open the app and I am getting a pop up “TURN ON DEVICE LOCATION” but I have verified all my location services and it’s already ON. Even the basic thing like account statement does not work properly. A blank screen is displayed most of the time when account statement is clicked. What is the point of a CIF number if all of one’s accounts don’t automatically show up? To add another account, one has to visit the branch. The whole point of mobile banking is to be able to transact without going to the branch. ### 1/5 — Worst of the worst *2024-03-28, version 7.14* I've never faced anything like this ever in my life, it's literally just the worst banking app ever to produce... the management team needs to focus on this issues before things turn very rough. Most common issues is that the other I can login but the next day I couldn't get access to it, Guys does that even makes sense!!! There are so many Users out here, if you keep on refusing to fix it many may be gone. The app perhaps is not properly made for it does not fit in the mobile screen. When confirming the new mpin I have to first expose the space meant for confirming the mpin number. And to do so I have to first choose done and when I proceed thereafter the app fails to take the information, and I end up without the new mpin. Revising tpin again and again only to know it is a glitch. Their team doesn’t help, how are we supposed to transfer our funds? -It hangs while transferring funds. Unable to use the debit card on online sites even when limit is maintained. The NetBanking doesn’t work. Nothing works. The upi is mostly not working for this bank. So you submit funds here and are mostly left with no other option to use them! ### 1/5 — Trying to register for a week now *2023-09-01, version 7.5* Okay, I'm all for giving apps a grace period, but a week? I've been banging my head against a wall, trying to register with the CBI app, and I'm constantly hit with a "can't reach servers" message. I'm scratching my head wondering if this is the CBI standard. Surely, it can't be that hard to ensure your servers are up and running. It's 2023, not the dial-up era. I expected better. I am closing this account now because whenever I wanted to login and transfer funds I always face trouble. First thing their so called security which asks 3 to 4 time’s passwords and OTp’s. Also when I wanted to reinstall app it’s not registering via net banking after westing time app says “Net banking server didn’t respond please try again later” One of the worst banking experience as compared to SBI, ICICI, HDFC, HSBC, IDBI ### 1/5 — Rediculous *2025-07-12, version 7.23* Rediculous ### 1/5 — Third class app *2025-06-18, version 7.22* A very third class app. Always ask to change MPIN, TPIN & MTPIN and if you want to change it later then there is no option even you can’t go back and you can not do anything untill you change your TPIN. If you still have patience and changed whatever they asked then after few days that correct pin will also shows wrong in this app. Then again you have to go through all that process and setup your Pin. Installing this time wasting and useless app right away. ### 1/5 — Candidate for the worst banking Application *2025-02-27, version 7.21* Central bank is one of the oldest banks in India and it’s application is as dated as the bank. Most of the banking apps are designed to enhance/ease the customers experience. But Cent mobile app will make your life more complicated. I personally feel it should not be called as a banking app as it barely does anything related to banking. I took a home loan from Central bank & was told to use Cent mobile for banking operations. Below are my observations, 1. When I went to set mpin it accepted a 4 digit pin & when the pin expired, it asked me for a 6 digit previous pin 🤷🏻 2. When logged in, I tried to fetch statement of account and every time, I got empty statement with the banks letter head. I ensured I was reviewing for correct time frame but result still the same. 3. I tried to check my updated tenure since we have been prepaying on the loan and found out it does not update that. 4. Not to mention the thousands of times the app crashes. My request to the bank is hire a decent company to build your app so that the customers don’t curse you for their basic banking needs ### 1/5 — Not working *2024-12-16, version 7.20* Very worst mobile banking services, unable to register ### 1/5 — App won’t work *2024-12-11* Team kindly check. Asks to change credentials very frequently and after a laborious process, when you change, the credentials are perhaps not updated and in no time you are thrown out with the remark three attempts over. The helpdesk has no clue. The problem persists even after the app is reinstalled. Bank’s IT cell apparently is in deep slumber!! My problem has persisted for over SIX months!! ### 1/5 — Log in issue frequently *2024-08-07, version 7.16* It shows turn on location, though location is turn on by default and log in fails ! It is happening very frequently since last few months especially in late night 11PM -3AM (Note: Excluding the schedule server maintenance time by bank itself) . After some time (9AM-6PM) the app is processing log in as usual.
