### 4/5 — Comprehensive and Convenient

*2025-10-28*

I’m typically reluctant to buy apps and prefer guidebooks (which I’ll pay for) and free resources online. However, the moment I showed up to a lesser known crag that begins with “O” equipped with the new (2025) Central Oregon guidebook (the only book I knew of that covered it) it was immediately apparent that the guidebook covered only about a third of the routes. I downloaded the app and found it way more comprehensive and very easy to use (after a slight learning curve of downloading photos BEFORE losing reception). I would like to see some additional features: Specifically the ability to mark routes with either “to do” or “ticked” statuses that are readily apparent when viewing long lists of routes at a given area. This would be nice for quickly finding the routes I want to climb on a given outing or skipping past ones I’ve already done.
