Take a look at how you set a start point and end point in Google maps and copy that. App denies loads of places exist, and editing an address doesn’t really work. ### 1/5 — Dodgy *2021-06-14, version 40.6.13* 1) Tried to register my credit card as default method of payment. Initially card was accepted. Booked a ride and immediately got a message from the bank about my card being blocked due to suspicious activity. 2) App demanded a house number be added to my saved home address which already included the house number. This app used to be ok, I am now deleting because it’s looking dodgy. It’s got to be solidly reliable for booking rides to the airport, 100% confidence needed and it’s not there. ### 1/5 — Version 40.5.3 August 2020 *2021-04-24, version 40.6.13* How popular is this app? There was an error the first time, but it worked fine after that. We needed a 5 seater and this allowed us to choose type of vehicle. Prompt and very friendly drivers. When they didn’t show up I called and they said I didn’t have anything booked and then said it would be a 30 minute wait. Ok I can’t control the wait time but what’s the point in scheduling if it doesn’t register? So I cancel the ride in the app since it’s useless and wait another 30 minutes. I call back and I’m told I have no ride coming because I cancelled my ride in the app. So apparently your booking does not get a taxi only cancels ride if you call them? This app is dumb and makes no sense. Now my wife is once and mad at me because she thinks I’m Incompetent of booking a taxi. ### 1/5 — not practical app at all *2023-08-06, version 40.2303.71* I struggled to set up a pick up (crossing an address is a chore), and after 3 tentatives I removed the app from my phone ### 1/5 — Horrendous. This company has easy lost 100+ taxis from us over the last couple of years as their app is so unreliable. I always give them a chance but not anymore - final straw broken with this useless piece of garbage. Edinburgh Central Taxis accepted them cancelled my journey 5 mins later. I was going to the Airport this morning as I was waiting on the street outside my flat. No explanation. Uber we’re much better, more responsive, actually bothered to come pick me up and were cheaper! Don’t bother with this app or Central Edinburgh Taxis. They will mess you about ### 1/5 — Pre-booking doesn’t work *2022-05-17, version 40.13.61* Pre-booked a taxi, it didn’t show up so I called. After 10minutes on hold I was told ‘I was in the queue’. They then called me back 5minutes later since they ‘found me a taxi’. It arrived about 40minutes later. I booked all of our taxis using the app, and not only did we have next to no waiting time (even after pub kicking out time) for a 6 and a 5 seater, but we also had the BEST drivers (Dave) who gave us touristy info and stopped at kebab shops! Highly recommend. *2014-02-18, version 10.0.0* The app is extremely user friendly and allows me to book a taxi very quickly. It's really helpful when you are in a busy/noisy place and as it allows you to track the vehicle it's saves constant trips outside to check if it's arrived. You are able to save commonly used locations and rebook repeat journeys at the touch of a button.
