### 5/5 — Buena alternativa a YNAB / Good YNAB alternative

*2023-06-19*

Como ex usuario de YNAB, y tras probar a presupuestar en excel, esta app es la que mejor se adapta a mi workflow a un precio razonable. Además el desarrollador es muy activo y escucha el feedback.

As a former YNAB user, and after trying to budget in excel, this app is the one that best suits my workflow at a reasonable price. In addition, the developer is very active and listens to the feedback.

### 5/5 — Good Zero-based budgeting app

*2023-04-13, version 0.9.3*

I’ve been using the app for a little over a month and it’s exactly what I need for keeping me on track. I keep one budget for personal and one for business, and am able to add repeating transactions, track debt repayment, and plan ahead. A great alternative to YNAB if that’s what you’re looking for, with fast responsive support if you need it, or want to suggest a feature. All manual entry may be a drawback for some, but that never works with my bank anyway, so I just get in the habit of updating frequently and reconciling often.

### 5/5 — Mobile envelope budgeting at its best!

*2023-03-06*

I’ve been looking for an alternative to ynab after the price increase and the fact that I still need to login to desktop to do basic things. Came across Centsible and fell in love! It’s fast, clean, and simple to use. It has all the core features ynab has at a fraction of the price. As someone who doesn’t use direct import, this app speaks to me. And the dev is improving it every month. Highly recommend Centsible.

### 5/5 — The cleanest budgeting app to date

*2022-07-07*

The interface is very user friendly and clean compared to most budgeting apps on the App Store. The set up was easy and it gives great visibility into my spending habits. I had no clue that I was spending over $600 in food delivery a month until Centsible categorized my expenses. It’s definitely worth it if you’re trying to practice better spending habits.

### 3/5 — Decent Budgeting App

*2026-03-07*

Pretty useful envelope budgeting app that offers a lifetime subscription. I just wish the UI was a little cleaner but the app works well.

### 4/5 — Promising

*2022-10-30*

Updated - now increased to 4 stars since recurring transactions have been added (first iteration).

Still has a bit of a way to go in that it needs:
a) a payee memorisation/management tool and
b) a search facility
c) a Mac app
But very promising. The developer is making fast progress so I expect great things from this app. If you rely on envelope budgeting to manage your finances, and prefer mobile to desktop, take a look! Everyone is different but:
1) I find the use of on/off sliders to select categories a little clunky but of course very precise - and especially good with split transactions
2) There is a lot of unused white space.

### 5/5 — Great YNAB Alternative

*2025-10-12*

I find this app to be very useful for my budgeting purposes. It’s similar to YNAB but Centsible has a lifetime subscription which I find to be great since I’m not a big fan of using subscriptions for budgeting. This app is great for envelope-based budgeting. Highly recommend!

### 5/5 — Great YNAB alternative

*2025-07-07*

This is a great, much more affordable alternative to YNAB if you don’t need bank sync. (That YNAB feature never worked well for me with my banks)

Centsible offers the ability to do “envelope” budgeting at a great price. Support is very helpful too!

### 5/5 — One time fee!

*2025-04-01*

The app has works well for me, a lot of the other apps have a monthly fee, and I’d rather have a lifetime license. Manually entering transactions can be tedious but monthly bills can be set to recurring. Personally having to enter transactions makes me physically see what is spend resulting in me spending less on things I don’t need.

### 5/5 — YNAB features for not YNAB subscription cost!

*2025-04-01*

Long term YNAB user and this is as close to a perfect replacement for that app with just one time cost. Totally worth it. App developers also very open to suggestions and constantly improving the app.

### 5/5 — Looks promising as a YNAB alternative

*2025-01-19*

I have used YNAB for years, but I’m sick of paying a huge annual subscription fee! I found this app online, and created my budget without any issues. I am starting to enter my transactions and things look really good! I love being able to customize colors and icons for my different categories. I am going to take advantage of the full trial period but I can see this as a good and affordable replacement!

### 5/5 — You should use this!

*2024-11-12*

For the last 7 years I have strictly used YNAB and got tired of the subscription plan and found Centsible. This app is way under rated for several reasons. 1. Very easy to use budgeting app that has a very clean UI. The monthly expenses plan widget at the top lets you know your plan for every month so you know your plan is realistic to your income. 2. The IPAD app is under rated and is not talked about, super easy to use and once again has a very clean UI. 3. The product to value ratio is through the roof compared to other companies. Best part is, you can buy a lifetime membership and stop paying for another subscription. 4. The expense plan “expense plan with a cap” is highly under rated and is one of my favorites in the app. I absolutely love it.

I would highly recommend this app to someone who wants to budget and make an ACTUAL difference in their finances. However, this app requires you to be an active budgeted which means you willl need to enter transactions manually but if your going to make an ACTUAL difference in your financial situation you need an ACTIVE budgeting app that allows you to know real time numbers. And for those of you wondering how can I trust the money that’s in my budget? Well there is a reconciliation feature that allows you to reconcile your accounts so you can start looking at your budget to make purchase decisions instead of your bank account

### 5/5 — Budget budget app

*2024-07-01*

I used YNAB for years but I preferred to enter in my transactions manually. It didn’t make sense to keep paying their outrageous subscription fee. This app has all that I need.

### 5/5 — The best YNAB alternative I found

*2024-04-20, version 0.9.9*

Especially if you already was manually entering your transactions

## Most praised reviews (2 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — You Should Use This

*2024-02-13*

Honestly a great app. I’m very used to YNAB and this is very similar to it and has almost all the same functionality! I highly recommend this app instead if you are okay with manual entry of transactions! The layout is great and the developer is very responsive to feedback as well. Give it a try! You won’t regret it!

### 5/5 — Finally!

*2024-02-10*

I have been SEARCHING all over for a YNAB alternative. I downloaded app after app and nothing compared… until I found this one. I do manually entry for all my accounts and transactions so this was perfect for me. I highly recommend this app! Worth. It!
