I have applied to open an account with them, sent all the documentation ( UK driving license) and received an email from them saying that my application was unsuccessful with the following message. 

Unfortunately, based on the details you have provided, we are unable to open an account for you.

I’m not british, I’m European. So I don’t recommend this company, I will report to financial authority as there is no explanation why, nor which documents is missing if this is the case.

Having tried a couple of FX solutions Centtrip's app and card are by far and away the best. So easy to buy currency and load the card and then the almost instantaneous reporting on spend via balance statement is great.

No more nasty charges when paying directly and a far more reasonable fee for cash withdrawals. Definitely living up to their corporate statement of 'Currency Freed'! 

In terms of advocacy for Centtrip, I don't travel without the card and the app gives me extra peace of mind knowing exactly what I've spent and where whilst always allowing me to buy currency when I choose.

Been using the earlier version of the app for a while which was a huge improvement on the first version. This one moves it on again, only minor styling changes, but much faster and really smooth moving around the app. Still loving Touch ID access and just much more intuitive than the apps I have for bigger financial institutions. Good work Centtrip, keeping it clean, simple and classy!
