## What is Century Tree Transit?

Century Tree Transit is an unofficial, independent companion app for Texas A&M's AggieSpirit campus bus system (and Brazos Transit District's bus system), built by a bus driver, to make it faster and easier to find a bus, catch it on time, and know when something's gone wrong with your route.

LIVE MAP
See every active bus on a live map, updated continuously with real-time position, heading, and estimated crowding. Pick exactly which routes you want to see - select one, several, or all of them - and each route's inbound and outbound paths are shown clearly, with the direction you're watching clearly marked with the other dimmed so you can always tell them apart.

STOPS & DEPARTURE TIMES
Tap any stop to see live, real-time departure estimates alongside the full published schedule for any day. Timepoint stops (where a bus will hold if running early) are marked, and you'll see a countdown to departure if a bus is currently holding at your stop.

DETOURS & CLOSURES
When a route is on a detour, the app shows you exactly what changed - a dashed line traces the normal route so you can see what's being skipped, and any stop that's temporarily closed (or added!) because of it is clearly flagged, right on the map.

RUNNING LATE OR EARLY?
Tap a bus to see how full it is and an estimate of whether it's running ahead of or behind schedule, so you're not left guessing at the stop.

TRIP PLANNING
Plan a full trip - including the walk to and from your stops - combining live bus data with routing to get you exactly where you're going, not just to the nearest stop.

NOTIFICATIONS
Get notified about delays and detours for exactly the routes you care about, with a per-route delay threshold and an optional schedule (e.g. only weekday mornings) so you're only alerted when it actually matters to you.

SERVICE CALENDAR
Check the AggieSpirit service calendar right alongside your bus info - handy for knowing whether service is running on a normal schedule or on break service.

FAVORITES & OFFLINE
Favorite the routes you ride most for quick access. Route and schedule data is cached locally, so you can still see route info even with a spotty connection - and the app will tell you clearly when it can't reach live data rather than silently showing you something stale.

HELP GUIDE
New to town? No worries! The help guide will give you all the information to know about riding the bus, making you a professional bus-rider the first time you step on!

BUS DRIVERS
You can see each unit's letter designation (Alpha, Bravo, Charlie) on their callout!

This app is not affiliated with or endorsed by Texas A&M University, AggieSpirit, or Brazos Transit District.
