But when reading a book and in a certain chapter and verse, when switching to a different book for reference, there’s no way to return to where I was. There is no History tab. Except for a bookmark that you would have to keep updating. Also the tab for the Blog sends you to a non working website. I have emailed them with no response so far….. ### 2/5 — It should be a sin… *2025-10-07, version 22.0.48* I think the CEPHER is good as a bible, but I think it should be a sin not to have iCloud or some type of syncing in 2018. The times I’m studying on my iPad I save notes and bookmarks. Then I might have a conversation with someone and want to view something I saved previously, but now I’m on my phone and they are not there. Now I just upgraded my iPhone and I have to start all over again. Smh! Wow! Update from 2018: Now they have sync but it still doesn’t work correctly. My issue is still the same. iCloud sync doesn’t work on its own. I have to go to EACH INDIVIDUAL VERSE and hit save so it can sync over to my new iPhone 17. I can’t even trade in my old iPhone because I’m saving each verse so it can sync. ### 3/5 — Audible *2025-10-01, version 22.0.48* You said it would be audible. Tried the contact us link and it will not accept any of my emails therefore can not send issue. ### 3/5 — This app is being managed like the government *2025-09-02* Everyone who receives direction into the truth ends up with this version of scripture in their library. It offers valuable exposure to the true names in transliterated form. There are some points we have to dig into our Strongs or whatever and/or refer to original text for understanding , but mostly we get a nicely arranged and faithfully worded (faithful to KJV) composition. The changes and tweaks to the app are concerning because for most of us who have made this version our favorite it is becoming harder and harder to recognize what we once were familiar with. Today my app became disabled somehow and only shows a blank white screen. I tried downloading the free abridged version and it does the same. There is no remedy that worked so if I want to get answers I have to reach out to them, and in order to do that I have to go to some page and figure out how to go about doing that. Sometimes I felt like I was better off with a KJV and Strongs instead of this, and due to this mess I’m even more convinced of that. They should just quit with this app and sell their overpriced hardcover. *Update I already sent the pertinent info to the support team and got a generic response by email stating they’d respond as soon as possible. Apparently it’s not possible to address issues in my inbox before coming on here and responding to my less than scathing review. **Developer response:** We have recently published a new version (v22.0.48) which addresses this issue. Amein. I downloaded this app because it was said on the Cepher website when ordering a Cepher to download their app also so I did and I loved it.. I assumed they would copy the Cepher onto the app as is written …it is definitely changed and I now can’t trust that more is also changed. ### 2/5 — Scripture Search Inadequate *2025-06-14, version 22.0.42* The search results are not comprehensive, as there are verses that I know are in the Bible but the search function gives incomplete verse listings. I then have to refer to the KJV, which I do not like because of its use of ‘Lord’, ‘Jesus’ and ‘God’. ### 3/5 — One time charge turned monthly *2025-04-02, version 22.0.40* I read this book quite often but just read through and the line read the one time charge covers all future updates. Why am I being charged monthly? There is nothing where to contact anyone or show how to confirm my information. I would like to connect with someone to stop the monthly charge and get refunded ### 3/5 — Follow-Up Review *2025-03-29* Search feature is still subpar. Inconsistencies for when you type in a word that appears across texts but the search comes up empty. Also proper words with punctuation within the name will get an error message or an incomplete listing of all the places where the name appears. It’s also very unfortunate that the Hebrew on the homepage for the daily prayer was taken away. It was a nice way to practice and learn some Hebrew words. If it wasn’t broke, then why fix it. So disappointed in this app. It took 7 steps back in order to move forward 2 steps. Thank you ### 4/5 — The Daily Hebrew Prayers removed *2025-03-28* Disappointed That the Prayers Were Removed I was really disappointed to see that the prayers were removed from the Cepher app and replaced with the Scripture of the Day. The prayers were not only uplifting but also an essential part of my daily practice, helping me grow spiritually and improve my Hebrew. While I appreciate the Scripture of the Day feature, I truly miss the prayers and hope they will be restored in a future update. Please consider bringing them back! **Developer response:** We recently released a new version (v22.0.42) which adds an option to the settings page to display the daily scripture, daily prayer, or both. Since this new update I noticed many changes to the text. I didn’t purchase this new updated version and it would be great if we had the option to keep the version that was originally purchased. Matthew 6:9-12 is completely different. Risen bread?? It doesn’t even align with the lexicon translation of the original text. Why would you change it? We are warned not to change the text “ For I testify unto every man that hears the words of the prophecy of this cepher, If any man shall add unto these things, Elohiym shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this cepher: Chazon (Revelation) 22:18 | את Cepher “Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may guard the commandments of Yahuah Elohaykem which I command you.” Devariym (Deuteronomy) 4:2 | את Cepher This is not a better translation. Change it back please. When is this book gonna be Audible? I bought this book in 2017 I believe and it’s not audible yet he could’ve did it 1000 times and he’s made up many many more books when ### 1/5 — Cation with this bible *2025-10-26, version 22.0.49* It’s a copy of the king James bible and further more the idea was for it to contain the real name of the father and the son but yet in areas it uses Jesus in Hebrew in there very discreetly. You need to be more responsible in your actions of muddying the narratives. My husband just mentioned the update, so I went to check on my phone. For some reason I had to download it back onto my iPhone and my all but two of my bookmarks and highlights are gone! If you can’t offer the previous translation as well as this new translation, then refund the original purchase amount I paid for this app. This is not ok. Matthew 6:9-12 is completely different. I purchased this app a couple of years ago, and I began to move away from it as a result of lacking features. Today is my first day back and I am very impressed! I love that I now have the ability to save my scripture notes by syncing them to my Apple account. The new interface is very modern and appealing. I think the daily scripture on the front screen is a nice touch, and even the search feature has improved for those who don’t know the traditional names yet. I love using my CEPHER hard copy bible, but the app is much easier to use at camp and bible study . Thanks so much for updating it !! I bought the full version a while ago . Now I have the iPhone 16 pro max and the app will no longer work . Nothing shows up . I would like for the next update to let us categorize our bookmarks. Cause when I try to witness to people I have to scroll through that long list of bookmarks to get to scripture.
