### 1/5 — This app needs to be updated

*2025-01-27, version 3.2.7*

If this were to be a completely free app, I would understand, but considering that the voices are extremely glitchy, especially with voiceover you need to update your app because it’s extremely buggy. Letting an old version of the app just sit there for three months is not OK.

### 4/5 — Using the voices with VoiceOver

*2024-05-31, version 3.2.3*

This app seems really cool, and the voices are quite natural. I am noticing a few problems with using these voices with Voiceover. They take a while to respond after navigating through the system. On mac, there is a bug with the sampling rate. This could be a voiceover thing but don't know. The 16kHZ version was high pitched even though the pitch was at the default, and the standard
48kHZ was lower pitched, while the 24kHZ was slightly lower, which suggests that voiceover uses a sample rate of 22.05kHZ for its 3rd party voices. The Siri voices work fine with voiceover, and they have a higher sample rate. This seems like Voiceover doesn't recognize the sample rate of the voice. The voices pitch is fine on iPhone. The voices are very sluggish in general. If these issues could be fixed, I don't see why I wouldn't purchase a few voices for my devices.

### 1/5 — voices make phone unresponsive

*2023-12-23*

I recently acquired your CeraVoice voices for VoiceOver on my iPhone 12 pro max. I purchased seven. as my WiFi is slow, I couldn't use said voices until today. eventhey make VoiceOver extremely sluggish, to the point of making my phone unresponsive. I am poem that you continue to sell them in the app store with these problems. I am requesting you refund me for these voice I bought, as they are unusible. I needed sighted help to get speach back! I am Paul you continue to sell these voices. I will be calling Apple accessibility, and when they hear what these voices do to VoiceOver, I'm sure they will notify the App store review team, and get your app pulled. I will specificly ask them and make it my mission to get this app pulled, as voices douing that, is against app review standars.

### 5/5 — Great app with amazing voices!

*2023-12-20, version 1.5*

Love the voices available on the app. I enjoy using them with my screen reader app to have speech played aloud in a variety of accents. Thanks CereProc team!

### 4/5 — CerePlay

*2023-12-07, version 1.4*

This app has a great deal of potential. I give it four stars in its current iteration. The loss of the final star comes from issues. I have been having attempting to use these voices with voiceover. My phone is extremely laggy when attempting to use these voices for this purpose. I am running this app on an iPhone 12 Pro Max. The other issue I note is that some voices do not appear to install properly. I have noted it with the Welsh, English, Rodri voice and the UK, English William voice. Even with the voices installed and selected my phone reads using the default Daniel British English voice. Please check the integrity of all installations and make sure the install properly. Well, these voices do not work well with voiceover I am pleased to note they work well with the Voice Dream app. However, selecting the show switch in the app does not appear to place them in the voices list of the app as expected. I am not sure if this is due to the way, Voice Dream reader works or if it may be something having to do with the CerePlay app. if it is possible to switch between the two different types of voices, seer wave to standard, and back again, the method of achieving this goal is exceedingly unclear. May I suggest placing instructions in the app description, as well as making it evident within the app settings?
Thank you.
Keep up the good work!

### 5/5 — Good app

*2023-12-05*

So happy the cereproc are available on iOS, there are a few things that need to be fixed. First, the voice already installed lags and I can’t install the other voices.

### 1/5 — Nowhere near ready for public use

*2023-12-04, version 1.2*

First of all, if you purchase a voice, good luck of having any hope of installing it, the app just takes you on a loop that lasts forever and ever and your voice won't be installed.
Also, when you do install a voice (obviously it has to be a free one, because you can't use a voice if you pay for it) the actual speech is so laggy, I could make a cup of tea, just waiting for it to say the next thing.
I don't know how or if this app was ever actually tested before release, but there's no way its ready or reliable. Even if this had been a beta build, the results sadly would have worried me beyond belief. I think there are London train services more reliable than this app is. But anyway, enjoy my money. Isn't it lucky it was only 99p 30% of which you've paid to apple anyway, who can actually get their tts to work!
