## What is CertLok?

Certlok SOS Overview 
 
Certlok SOS is an application available exclusively through an employer contract. It is free for employees registered by their employer with Emery & Karrigan.  It cannot be purchased individually. For individual use, consider CertLok, which includes all Certlok SOS features except IncidentAlert and IncidentManagement. 

Employer-Specific Features 
Certlok SOS includes two features designed to enhance employer response to work-related incidents involving significant property or bodily injury damage:  

IncidentAlert: Pressing the SOS button sends a proprietary notification to the National Coordinating Council (NCC) to coordinate legal counsel for you and your employer, regardless of your location. Additional notifications are sent to your employer, their insurance broker, and, via the NCC, an insurance adjuster or forensics expert.  
IncidentManagement: This feature enables you to document incident details immediately, capturing real-time facts while they are fresh. It supports, but does not replace, existing protocols, ensuring critical information is preserved before site cleanup.

Auto-logging of credential and document sharing.  
Weather alerts for your location.  
View accessible cranes and update their location. 
SOS button for rapid NCC contact to secure legal protection, preserve the scene, and protect all parties involved.  
Incident Docs button for collaborating with a legal expert to document incident details accurately. 
Note: CertLok, available for individual purchase in the Apple Store, lacks the employer-specific IncidentAlert and IncidentManagement features but includes all other functionalities listed above.

### 1.0.16 — 2026-07-29

Version 1.0.16 adds a couple of features and makes several UI improvements to existing applets:

- Features:
• Implement Age Verification to comply with Texas SB 2420: App Store Accountability Act.
• Handle lack of internet connectivity gracefully, inform users of lack of connectivity.
• Add read-only detail pages to existing list applets.
• Add a sharing preview screen to show users the actual images/documents they are sharing.

- UI improvements:
• Disable 'Save' buttons on all detail pages until user has modified some data.
• Make look & feel of list filters across the app consistent.
• Improve the responsiveness of various buttons within the data entry forms.
• Hide the profile completion percent banner when it's 100% complete.

• Update crane's street address from location update.
