## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.1.5 — 2026-09-01

CES Mobile GIS 1.1.5

This release adds the Stock module, dark mode, automatic sync of field edits, a faster snap engine, and a large set of map, offline, and stock reliability fixes.

STOCK Field teams can now manage bootstock from the app. My Stock shows balances, a summary, and quick actions. You can request material, create and dispatch transfers and returns, receive or reject transfers (including a blind reading on receive), declare custody, and log usage. Daily Bootstock Count is included, with signatures, nearby locations, and recent activity. If you work across more than one database, My Stock can switch databases the same way the project list does.

Log usage is also available from the map popup when you are on a feature. Asset split and lineage are supported so drum or asset history can be followed through GIS.

Stock wizards were redesigned for a clearer, more compact flow. When you request from a bootstock, the catalogue only lists what is actually on hand. Item labels no longer show raw GUIDs in activity and count screens. Daily Count lines name the drum or bulk item they belong to.

Stock permission problems are no longer shown as a “connection” or “session expired” error, and a stock 401/403 no longer logs you out of the whole app. Access denied is a clear message. The signature pad now receives touches inside stock modals. Daily Count discovers an already-open count on the server (not only from local cache) and will not re-submit a count that was already submitted. Cross-device transfer receive reconstructs lines from the ledger. Allocated stock now persists and shows on the feature panel. Orphaned draft transfers, mistagged comments, and silent balance-check failures are resolved.

MAP, SYNC, AND EDITING Creating new points, lines, and polygons is reliable again. Done on a new feature is gated on required fields only, so you cannot finish an incomplete record. Incomplete new features no longer cause an infinite sync loop.

My Changes can auto-sync when you open the app, come back online, add a new pending item, or turn the toggle on. Server-side conflict resolution is wired in so overlapping edits can be resolved against the server instead of stalling in the queue.

Snapping uses an MVT-based engine instead of the old SQLite snap cache, so vertex drag no longer stalls on a cold cache and cache invalidation is scoped to the area that actually changed.

The Options menu stays above My Changes on the tools rail. Switching theme no longer crashes, and a stuck “native busy” state no longer leaves MVT layers hidden after a theme change. Light and Dark CARTO basemap tiles now include the API key so the basemap actually loads. Tile updates wait until a database is selected, avoiding a premature connection and logout loop. Map layer remounts are serialised so theme and project switches stay stable.

APPEARANCE A Dark mode setting is available under appearance. App chrome (toolbars, sheets, panels, and settings) uses shared light/dark tokens so screens stay consistent in both modes.

OFFLINE Offline packs auto-start when you open a project online, if that setting is on. Downloads pause and resume with the app, show on-device progress notifications, and restore the progress bar if you kill and reopen the app mid-download. Light and Dark basemap download progress is combined into one bar. The offline zoom floor only applies when the app is actually offline, not merely because MBTiles files exist on disk.

Going on and off the network no longer corrupts the MBTiles database. Empty design layers are not treated as “partially ready.” Pack catch-up patches from named tiles instead of flooding a bounding box. Auto-download waits until online tiles have settled so it does not fight the live map, and it honours the auto-download toggle. Cancel is honoured through the adjunct download phase.
