Now facing difficulty in viewing & paying bills. ### 1/5 — CESC App not working in iPhone 15 *2024-11-19, version 3.1.0* Earlier it used to work smoothly in iPhone, I used to regularly pay my CESC bills using the same Apple device. It is not working as on today - once opened the front logo does not change, on swiping it asks to download the new version again & again. Uninstall & Reinstall also failed to work. My guess, the App developer has not tested the App in new iOS 18.1 at all & testing/UAT has not happened too by CESC IT team. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Worst Company & Worst App *2026-05-18, version 3.1.11* First of all, CESC as a company is a worst company. You’ll always find power cut in Kolkata whether it’s a rain, slight storm or extreme heat wave. After power cut, they don’t have any other reporting option but this worthless app. In the app, after you report power cut, the status becomes resolved immediately, even if the problem has not been resolved. No one is responsible for extended power cut. Power cut may happen during morning, afternoon, night or early morning. CM should close this company or bring other private companies as competitors such as TATA or Adani. Worthless App & Worthless Company. ### 1/5 — Could have been better *2026-02-12, version 3.1.10* There are so many drawbacks my fingers will pain writing. No productive work can be done in this app. Should not have been released to start with. No UAT done. Poor design. Complain can be registered but then it goes in blackhole. Have been able to resolve queries like online AC application with ease. Apart from that have also been able to check online bill amount and make payment online and keep a track past payments on my fingertips. Also notifications help in keeping track of payment cycles and alerts about any service related issues like outages help in planning ahead.
