A few questions and three screens of Czech words — three minutes — and you know your vocabulary, your level and the section worth starting from. A new goal screen: the level you are at, an arrow, then the level the course takes you to. A path, not a choice between two columns. The whole interface moved to a single typeface. Titles are larger and heavier, lines have more room, and the important part of a sentence stands out by colour rather than size — it simply reads better. In the stories, "build the line" now asks for the character's words exactly — no narrator, no punctuation. ### 1.3.10 — 2026-09-03 The app speaks five languages • The interface is in English, Spanish, German, Russian and Ukrainian. • The A1 and A2 course is fully translated into German and Spanish too: word translations, hints, grammar explanations and mistake breakdowns — not just the menus. • You pick the language on the very first screen: a list with each language written in itself and its flag beside it. Change it in Settings whenever you like. • A fresh install opens in the language your phone is set to. More of the course is free • The three free sections now come from your own level instead of always A1: if the placement test put you at B1, three B1 sections are free. • One final exam — at whichever level you choose — is free to take in full, certificate included. Fixed • Signing in with Google no longer puts the Google account's name back over the one you chose. • Your name and photo now live with your account: after a reinstall they come back along with your progress. • The rating card: a star opens the store, the × simply puts it off. ### 1.3.8 — 2026-09-01 Speak out loud — the app listens on its own • Pronunciation is graded by voice. The mic opens by itself, a live waveform shows you are being heard, and the verdict arrives at once — there is no button to press. • Cannot speak right now? "I can't speak" skips the step without losing progress. • Room noise no longer counts as an attempt: silence spoils nothing. • On Android the Czech recognition model downloads itself, so pronunciation works even offline. Easier to find your way • Six tabs became four: Learning, Practice, Reading, Profile. The dictionary, review and leaderboard are all still here — they moved inside. • The whole interface moved to SF Pro Display. • On iPad the app finally uses the full width: the library shows three covers per row, practice shows every mode at once, achievements five to a row. Reading and content • The story library is a shelf of covers now, not a list of rows. • All ten A1 stories are read by real voices instead of a synthesiser. • Level A2 is fully voiced: 1712 recordings. Every A2 lesson now opens on a scene, the way A1 does. Profile and progress • Your profile has a name and a photo, and both follow you onto the leaderboard. • Three A1 sections are free now, up from one. • In review, Czech words are typed letter by letter, in the same slots the lesson uses. Fixed • Signing out no longer looks like an error. • The all-time leaderboard no longer disappears for people who just started. • The interface stops falling apart on narrow screens. • AI explanations work again. ### 1.3.2 — 2026-08-28 Home-screen widgets refreshed: the daily-goal dial is now bigger and easier to read at a glance, with cleaner text and an improved combo widget showing your course progress.
