## What is Çetele?

Çetele is a privacy-focused note-taking app that encrypts your private notes on your device and syncs them through the Nostr network.

Store your journals, ideas, work notes, personal records, and private texts without relying on a centralized account. Çetele does not require an email address, phone number, or traditional user account. Your identity is created with your cryptographic keys, and your notes are encrypted before they leave your device.

KEY FEATURES

• End-to-End Encrypted Notes
Your notes are encrypted on your device and sent to the Nostr network in encrypted form. Nostr relays only carry encrypted data; they cannot read the content of your notes.

• Decentralized Sync with Nostr
Your notes are not tied to a single company’s server. With independent Nostr relays, you can sync your notes across your different devices.

• No Registration, No Password
You do not need to create an email address, phone number, username, or traditional password to use Çetele. The app offers a simple, privacy-focused experience.

Make your notes more organized and useful with headings, lists, bold and italic text, tables, drawings, and file attachments.

You can continue taking notes even without an internet connection. When your connection returns, your notes can be synced through the Nostr network.

Share your notes securely, create Nostr links, and export your notes in different formats when needed.

Çetele provides a simple, secure, and truly personal space for journals, ideas, private note archives, work notes, and personal records.

With Çetele, encrypt your notes, protect your keys, and keep your thoughts in your own digital space.

Important note: You need to back up your cryptographic keys securely. If you lose your key, access to your encrypted notes may not be recoverable.
