When I reached out for help, the customer service team ignored me. Worse yet, they deactivated my account without giving any reason. Please, don’t use this app. It’s not trustworthy and they don’t care about their users. This is one of those rare occurrences where I am frustrated. I genuinely believed that cex can be an alternative to some of the wallets which I have used thinking that I can use it to withdraw my cryptocurrency directly to my bank account. Even after looking at some of the reviews and the responses over here I was unsuccessful at withdrawing the funds. FYI: there is no orange button with 2 arrows in the bottom right of the app for withdrawal. Anyways. The first time I withdrew money out of cex it was a breeze. But now for the second time all it does is fail transaction without any reasons. I even tried converting from on crypto another and so on. I even tried sending the cryptos to another wallet. They all fail. Every time I convert from one crypto to another I lose money. Note: also there is no customer service. I have emailed several times with no responses to my concern. No reply to emails. How ridiculous! Save your money and go elsewhere! It’s really frustrating. What a scam! First time purchasing bitcoin on it I was charged over 63$ while trying to purchasing bitcoin worth of 545$ meanwhile it was on the page for a lesser fee. Still I went on with the purchase did the necessary verification and had to wait 48hrs so I can withdraw. It’s been over 24hrs that I’ve been trying to withdraw my bitcoin but I keep getting rejected now the bitcoin is stuck in the app and I can’t withdraw it, this is their scheme and I hope apple support verifies they are legit before putting on the App Store. I’m not going to believe anything until I’m able to withdraw my bitcoin I even emailed the support team but didn’t get any response **Developer response:** First of all, CEX.IO is a cryptocurrency platform that operates under regulations, and any fraudulent behavior on our part is completely excluded. Additionally, let us please clarify that the fee depends on the feature you use. The instant buy one is the fastest and the most convenient way to buy crypto and thus, it has a higher commission. Still, you may use the Exchange feature or place Market/Limit orders with lower fees. Also, please take into account the payment fees set by the payment provider. It's important to mention that most of the queries are answered in up to 48 hours, but in some cases, the wait time can take up to 7 days. The support team handles all the tickets on a first come first served basis, thus the wait time depends on the current workflow and case complicity. We appreciate your understanding. ### 1/5 — It only took 3 days *2023-04-08* I've used FTX and CTX is 10 times worse. Their wallet app indicates one price to buy currency but you must double the offer to actually buy the currency. To load or send matic you must spend a minimum of 30. But thats not the real twist. Once you use your debit card to load or buy crypto, they shut down your account. And send you a message, that you will need further approval to buy or sell. This of course is after you have been verified already. They say its for your safety, but in reality, they get another picture of you but with your credit card this time. Just read some of the complaints online about how they foot drag while you wait for approvals. These guys are supper slick. And they hide behind their own kb articles to justify every move they make. They have figured out the only recourse is to close your account and move on. But will quickly let you know, that can take 30 days. Watch out for these guys, they just make it up as they go along.
