### 4/5 — Great app

*2024-06-19*

The app is great and is usually accurate. Giving 4 stars instead of 5 for two reasons. First is because once in a blue moon it’ll glitch and not book me in a class when I click it and I’ve ended up not being able to take the class. The second reason is because you can only do it an hour in advance which is hard if you take back to back classes, wish it let you a little earlier so you’re not spending the first few minutes of one class trying to book for another. Other then that it’s great.

### 3/5 — Pretty decent

*2023-08-04*

For what it is, it’s pretty good, but coming from another gym app that has live crowd meter tracking and gives you information about your home gym directly on the app, this feels pretty weak in comparison. Those features would really make the app more convenient ESPECIALLY when trying to gauge how many people are going to be at the gym when you get there.

### 5/5 — My favorite gym

*2022-12-06, version 5.10*

I’ve had memberships to different gyms around town and this one is my favorite. It is really busy sometimes but it doesn’t prevent me from having a nice work out and relaxation time. I love the massage chairs and the theater. Sometimes the hot tub is a little dirty so I cant use it. Most of the team members are really helpful and friendly.

### 5/5 — This app enhances my experience

*2022-12-02, version 5.10*

My entire workout at the palm of my hand. I feel more a part of a community and no need to carry anything else with me but my phone.

### 5/5 — Always works

*2022-10-21, version 5.10*

Chuze fitness feels like family…a second home. The app always works, I’ve never experienced any glitches. Plenty of perks in getting the app and keeping up to date with points and class schedules are always accurate.

### 5/5 — Always a Great Experience in the App. 😊

*2022-10-12, version 5.10*

So many great features, but my favorite is being able to book classes. So easy to book and just show up.

### 5/5 — Great App!

*2022-10-05, version 5.10*

This app is very useful! I appreciate the fact that I can schedule classes 1 hr before on the app instead of rushing to the gym 30 minutes before HOPING I can secure a spot in the class.

### 4/5 — Great AP

*2022-10-01, version 5.10*

Really use the AP frequently and especially to book a class. The only wish I’d have is the ability to book a class farther out. Right now, members can on schedule an hour before the class. It’d be nice to book a day out.

### 5/5 — Love the App

*2022-09-17, version 5.10*

The app is easy to use, I wish it would track when your there and how long you were there for. Like if you can check in and check out. But love the points and how to manage the classes. I love it!

### 5/5 — Team Training

*2022-08-22, version 5.10*

I go for the early morning team training and it is great. The other people who attend are nice, respectful, and highly motivating. The instructors are knowledgeable and helpful every time. Also, it makes me feel awesome and keeps me in super great shape. Let’s go Chuze!!!

### 5/5 — I’m a senior!

*2022-08-19, version 5.10*

Finally I found a gym that seems to really be helpful.
The classes are designed well, and I feel like I’m getting results.
I can go at my own pace and that’s helping me to keep up with the class.
Thank you for always saying my name and making me feel welcome.

### 5/5 — Easy to use app

*2022-08-11, version 5.10*

Love that you can see all the classes that are offered and it gives you a description of the class, times and instructors. Has new monthly challenges you can sign up for and possibly win the raffles and it motives you to meet that goal. Reward points earned just for showing up which can be redeem for a lot of cool items. Keeps track of workouts… etc so many great thing love this app

### 5/5 — Great gym with great perks!

*2022-08-06, version 5.10*

Love this gym, have been going for years and I just start taking some of the classes and they really are beneficial. Everything to the coaches, trainers, and the amenities like the pool and the sauna, which is a must!

### 5/5 — Great!!

*2022-07-25, version 5.10*

Love using the Chuze App. I mostly use it to see what classes are being offered and I like checking my check-in history as it helps me stay on track.

### 5/5 — Easy to use

*2022-07-19, version 5.10*

I didn’t expect this app to be so great. I haven’t run into any weird issues and it functions very intuitively. I love that I can see the classes at each gym in my area.

### 3/5 — Want to be able to add any class to my calendar

*2022-04-02, version 5.8*

This app work well and has a good, simple user experience. Three stars because of three areas 1) to be able to receive text message alerts when classes open for sign up and 2)to be able to add classes to my personal calendar (regardless of whether I’m signed up yet) so I have time allotted for the week, and 3) change the yellow font in the class listings because it’s hard to read. Thanks.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Awful account management and App experience

*2024-01-21*

This app is the perfect example of a company trying to build an app without any experience. There is no account hand-off between trial and becoming a full time member. You can go all the way through account set up, spending 10+ minutes typing in your credit card, bank account, and addresses just to be led to a screen that tells you to go into the gym. Thanks for wasting my time. I now have 3 or 4 different logins with the same email address all of which worked at one point, but now don’t? Who knows what happened to my financial information I put onto those account. Absolutely negligent.

Also resetting your password sends you a new password over email plain text! (Extremely bad practice) Then when I login, I don’t even have the option to reset my password, so now it’s stuck with the password Chuze insecurely shared with me. God knows what malpractice is happening behind the scenes.

### 1/5 — Unlikely

*2022-11-15, version 5.10*

First time going to this kind of gem i usually member at golds gem bu since i moved to Corona i found this one closest to our home, i went yesterday with my wife and my son to try it to before we registering and we got very bad reception way she asked about my son age i told her he is has 12 years and 7 months and he is already member in golds gem she told me he has to be 13 years old, I'm and she keep talking so you gonna go inside or not and giving me my ID with a rude way i took my ID and left and we decide to drive to golds gem better than this one

### 1/5 — App doesn’t work

*2022-10-18, version 5.10*

For a gym that relies so heavily in their app, I would think they would at least have customer support or help for when the app is not working. I haven’t been able to use any of the locked facilities at the gym (sauna, steam room, pool, etc) because the app won’t pull up my barcode. It’s been 5 days and no one has been able to help me. Makes me not want to be a member at Chuze.

### 1/5 — Circular app does not get you to where you want to go.

*2022-01-15, version 5.8*

I signed up a new account for their Loveland CO location in Nov 2021 before their location was open. I set up an account on line. I then downloaded the app and tried to enter my account number after the location opened. It can not be done. The app doesn’t recognize my name or password to enter the account number. Totally frustrating it goes around in circles to the point that I will not use this useless app. I will use the card given to me at the location to sign in.

### 1/5 — Wasted Potential

*2021-11-18, version 5.8*

Once you add your barcode to your wallet, this app is ultimately useless. It's incredible how much wasted potential go into these huge gym chains.
An incredibly simple suggestion: Actually integrate your facilities with the app. If the Steamroom or Sauna is down for maintenance, I should be able to pull out my phone and see that it's under repair. Literally all it would take is one single worker hitting a button on tablet at the location. There are countless freelance software engineers that could add this to your app with ease. It would be fantastic to not have to drive all the way to the gym just to not be able to use the service I'm going there to use.

### 1/5 — Worst app ever

*2020-01-31, version 4.43*

So confusing and difficult to navigate. Just delete the app and start over or delete it for good and have people go into the location because the app over complicated something that should be fairly simple. If I registered on the website it should be recognized on the app as well. I should not he asked to make multiple profiles under all the same information, this is ridiculous.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t even link to HRM supplied by Chuze

*2019-11-12, version 4.43*

I find it frustrating that the Chuze app does not communicate or register work outs from the Accurofit app. The Accurofit app is the app that controls the heart rate monitors sold my Chuze for their team training class. So when I set a workout goal on the app, it never registers that I have worked out. I can only manually enter it, and that seems redundant. So this makes a lot of the Chuze app useless. The only thing good on the app is the class schedule.

### 2/5 — Not Great for Recording Progress

*2019-01-01, version 4.37*

I primarily lift weights at the gym, but recording weights for this are mostly useless since tracking distance / time / calories do not make sense when you’re recording weights. Why can’t I easily input weight name, weight amount and reps?

I do cardio as well, but if you’re going to create an app as a companion for a better work out experience, you need to cater to all of your customers.

Shoehorning in a weights option and not properly implementing it is counter productive.

### 2/5 — Eh

*2017-09-28, version 4.1*

Everything about this app was convenient until I switched to an iPhone 8. I used to religiously tweet referrals every day to get my points, but ever since upgrading my phone, I can’t send the tweet because there’s no option to press enter/send! It just gets stuck on the wording and not even a way to go back into the app so I have to close it out all the way and try again.

### 3/5 — Pretty decent

*2023-08-08*

For what it is, it’s pretty good, but coming from another gym app that has live crowd meter tracking and gives you information about your home gym directly on the app, this feels pretty weak in comparison. Those features would really make the app more convenient ESPECIALLY when trying to gauge how many people are going to be at the gym when you get there.

### 5/5 — Easy and efficient app

*2024-01-24*

I love how easy I can book classes before driving to Chuze Fitness and secure my spot and how all information needed is there. I which they had the option to check in just with my Apple Watch App not have to carry my phone all the time to check into the gym.

### 5/5 — Awesome staff

*2024-01-23*

Had a great team member help me out getting my app! Has worked like a charm every since, multiple people attempted to get the app to work for me I mean multiple there were even staff members I felt were bothered by my check ins, some would tell me my account ran out of manual check ins and they would be charging me on my next visit. When I say this was every-time.

I finally had him help me was so kind and helpful no attitude nothing but understanding and wanting to help resolve the issue and boom he fixed it in 1 day LITERALLY.

I’ve been able to check into class from my phone simple check in all made better! He deserves a raise !

### 5/5 — Fun app

*2023-11-28*

I like how the app tries to get you to track your workouts, challenges, and possibly even meet others doing the same. I’m not a fan of the dashboard, it feels kinda clunky, but you can do a lot with the app. I don’t have a Fitbit but it seems like you can even link your fitness device to the app so you can track your workout, kinda neat! Anyways, I recommend you use this app if you’re a Chuze member.

### 5/5 — Former Employee

*2023-11-26*

I was one of the first employees to be hired at Chuze in National City when it first opened and worked part time for about a year. Since then I been a member and have always felt like being at home every single day I walk in those doors.
The place is as clean and friendly as the day it was inaugurated. It’s my home away from home.

### 5/5 — Does what it’s supposed to

*2023-01-11, version 5.11*

Easy to find classes, set a reminder to book and then book. You can set reminders week in advance.

### 5/5 — Being and Staying fit.

*2023-01-02, version 5.10*

The hours and the friendliest and professional staff makes you feel your at home with family.

### 5/5 — Chuze app-simple and informative

*2022-12-30, version 5.10*

I use it on a daily basis for group fitness class schedule and reserving a spot. I go to multiple locations so it’s easy to check hours or call if I needed to speak with a staff member. Chuze is my favorite gym and the app helps me access info with ease.
