### 4/5 — Great App!

*2014-10-01, version 4.1*

I like the interface and ease of navigation. A+

### 5/5 — Awesome review

*2014-09-29, version 4.1*

Very helpful in my studies for the CFP test. Lots of questions and easy to use interface - well worth the price in the grand scheme of things, really...

### 5/5 — Outstanding CFP prep

*2014-09-24, version 4.1*

Highly recommended! Very challenging and accurate to the needs of the exam. Have told a few friends about the app. It's brand new and well worth the cost!!

### 1/5 — SCAM

*2019-04-11, version 6.7*

I bought this app for $50 because it claims to have 700 different questions. I started noticing that multiple questions were being repeated and they were being deducted from the question bank. I sent multiple messages and they insisted it was a system glitch and recommended that I reset the app, so I did. And the same thing happened again! I went through all 700 questions and they were not 700 different questions. The same questions were being recycled so I started taking screenshots as proof. I’ve tried to talk to someone but they take a day to respond via message and state that they do not take phone calls. I would like to speak to a live person but they do not accept calls. For $50, I expect to have 700 DIFFERENT questions, but my guess is that there possibly 350 questions. I would’ve paid $25 for that. I am a super busy mom/career woman and do not have time to go though this. DO NOT BUY, I think they intentionally do this!

**Developer response:** Hi there! So sorry to hear about this issue! Please contact us through the app or our website, and we’ll get this problem sorted out asap. We appreciate your understanding!

### 1/5 — CFP App Be Aware and don’t buy it! Wrong Answers... not updated to 2018 Tax Laws

*2018-09-08, version 6.5.5*

So, I spent my $25 and basically wasted my money! I was working on the Tax Questions and I noticed errors. One of them is related to Moving Expenses. According to JTCA of 2018, IRS doesn’t allow you to deduct moving expenses. They used too, based on the OLD Tax Laws! Also, the Kiddie Tax Question says that Kiddie Tax is based on the Parents Tax Rate! Wrong! In 2018, Kiddie Tax is based on the Trusts and Estate Taxes. I am disappointed! Already contacted the App Creator to ask for Reimbursement. And to be perfectly clear, I checked off the app version related to 2018 Tax Laws and not the March of 2018- which tested Old Tax Laws version!!! Don’t buy it! Unless, you want to fail your 2018 CFP exam! Alexandra D.

### 1/5 — Great substance poor execution

*2018-09-05, version 6.5.5*

Breadth of questions, structure of the question of the day, reminder to study and customized quizzes all are fantastic! However, app is slow, problematic upon opening and requires sign in often for no apparent reason.

**Developer response:** Hi Curtis! We’re sorry to hear the app is misbehaving! What you’re describing is not typical app behavior. Please contact us so we can provide suggestions on how to improve your study experience. We can be reached through the app’s Settings menu — we’ll keep an eye out for your message! 👀

### 1/5 — Not worth the money

*2017-12-02, version 6.3.2*

For $27.99 this program is not worth it. Spend your money elsewhere. I wish I would have not bought this and would like a refund, but probably won’t get one. Cheers!

### 1/5 — Many Errors Found - Tread Lightly

*2014-10-31, version 4.1*

I have found several major errors in questions. Sometimes the numbers are way off and other times there are factual errors in questions. I have deleted the app for fear that there are many more mistakes on topics I am less comfortable with.

### 3/5 — Great, but...

*2019-09-27, version 6.7.3*

This app was great initially. I purchased the $50 unlimited package. The questions in the app are great, and I also really like the question of the day, and other features on the app.

On September 26, I opened the app, and all my progress was gone. Also it brought me back to the free version. After maybe 10 minutes of trying to figure out what was wrong, I tried the ‘restore purchase’ button. It brought back the premium service, but all my progress had been lost. I already had answered more than half the questions at that point. For reference, when I started the app, I was 94 days from CFP test day, and on the day I lost all my progress and data, I was about 44 days away from CFP test day.

Definitely frustrating, as apparently, there’s nothing I can do to get my old progress back with over half the questions answered and already tracked areas for improvement. According to Oleksandr, a team member that I messaged. He then ended the message with verbatim: Regardless of your login state, you can tap the restore purchase button on the upgrade screen to re-enable your premium access. Hope this helps!

It does not help, as I did that already, and it is now impossible to get my old data back. Again, great app if they can keep your data. After paying $50 you’d expect the app to automatically track everything. Guess not though.

### 3/5 — Great app when it works

*2018-03-01, version 6.5.1*

Super glitchy and only works when it wants to.

### 3/5 — Calculation questions incorrect

*2016-03-19, version 5.3*

The answers to the calculation questions are wrong!! If these are wrong, it makes me paranoid how many of the other answer keys are incorrect also! It's great to be able to study for the CFP on the go (or while in bed), but be sure to cross reference your answers to your study books!

### 4/5 — Good foundation

*2018-08-31, version 6.5.5*

This is not meant to be the only tool for studying, but it’s good content to stay fresh on high level topics in preparation for the CFP exam. The app is kind slow, which you wouldn’t expect from a paid app.

### 4/5 — More options for free

*2015-09-09, version 5.2*

I'm loving the daily question and reminders to study but wish there was more to the free app.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Recommend

*2019-04-30, version 6.7*

I passed the CFP on my first try thanks to this app. I wouldn’t go as far as to say you should use this as your main source of study material, but as a supplement and using this on my downtime (while in the bathroom, eating lunch, etc.) definitely helped tipped the scales in my favor and drill-in some of the important concepts and topics. As long as the information is up to date, I’d recommend using this app. Remember that there’s so much material to cover, so it’s all about practice and repetition.

**Developer response:** Congratulations on passing the exam and taking the time to leave us a review. We wish you the best! 🎉

### 5/5 — Great App to help you pass The CFP exam

*2019-04-11, version 6.7*

Very nice easy to use app. I much preferred using this app in my spare time leading up to the exam as opposed to flash cards.

**Developer response:** Thanks so much for taking the time to leave us a review! We greatly appreciate you taking the time to leave us valuable feedback.

### 5/5 — Great additional study material on the go

*2017-03-20, version 6.0.11*

The questions are rather easy in terms of what you will see in the CFP, but it helps. Think of all the 600+ questions as a test on flash cards. I would use it while I was in the gym. It is worth the 25 bucks.

### 5/5 — Overall great & convenient app

*2016-08-16, version 6.0.5*

So far I have only used the free questions, but the content seems very relevant and the app itself is very convenient. No complaints so far

### 5/5 — EXCELLENT

*2016-08-12, version 6.0.5*

Only one problem. Some of the figures are not up to date but still a great review tool.

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2016-06-05, version 5.3*

The question quality is excellent and ease of use as well as history tracking is very nice. I finally feel like I am learning the material. I love also that the explanations are there and are also of great quality. I am very satisfied with my purchase and would recommend this to anyone struggling to learn.

### 5/5 — A good review and study aid

*2016-02-28, version 5.3*

It's not a primary study tool, but it's a great review tool that you can use anytime.

### 5/5 — Love this app!!

*2015-11-24, version 5.3*

Anytime I get a break in my day I use this app. Really like the settings for taking tests. Keeps the exam top-of-mind for me all day without having to drag all my books out.

### 5/5 — Fantastic Concept Review

*2015-11-19, version 5.3*

I wouldn't rely just on the app- but I found this great to coordinate with the Zahn review and to study "anywhere, anytime". It gave me a lot of confidence going into the exam. And, I passed!

### 5/5 — Happy I found this app...

*2014-10-01, version 4.1*

There needs to be more test prep apps in general. I certainly could have used something like this when I was in college lol.
