Wth!?! He was at unstoppable level 9 i tried bumping him to level 12 and he stayed the same!! The app's Chinglish is poorly. "Please waiting" the entire time. The whole thing seems pointless, anyway; the gimbal makes so much noise that I can't imagine the audio on the video being worth anything. ### 2/5 — Doesn't work with cgo, same error as everyone else BUT *2017-03-07* If you have a cgo2, there is a cgo2 app that DOES work that I just used on my iPhone 7plus, it just doesn't have all the camera settings. Just record and picture mode only. ### 4/5 — It does work! Here's how... *2017-02-07, version 1.0.7* First of all, nearly every review is negative, and it's completely clear why. The app is not intuitive at all. However, after a long time watching videos and reading troubleshooting pages, I think I have it figured out. I'm using the steadygrip and cgo3 gimbal camera provided with the Q500 4K quadcopter and an iPhone 6s Plus. 1: use only NiMH rechargeable batteries. NiMH is short for nickel-metal hydride, and they give out a voltage slightly higher than standard batteries. Regular AA batteries will not work! I'm using a set of EBL AAs and they seem to work fine. 2: attach the cgo3 to the steadygrip unit and turn it on 3: on your phone, open your wifi settings and select the cgo3. It'll be called CGO3_(random numbers and letters). It will ask for a password, enter 1234567890 4: now open the app, and it should run smoothly from there. I hope that saves some of you from more headaches! Good luck out there ### 1/5 — Does not connect *2017-02-04* This app works perfectly with samsung but not very well with apple, I have a samsung tablet and works great, but with my iPhone it does not connect. Please update app. ### 1/5 — Broken app *2017-02-01, version 1.0.7* This app once worked fine until Apple did an upgrade. Now, an iPhone will not lock to the signal. I have used a 5S successfully many times before and even used previous footage shot with this handy device in a documentary. When it works, it is a nice thing to have. I called Yuneec support, and as usual they took time to try and sort this out. They suggested I set my phone's wifi IP address to Static, and gave me a string of numbers which I put in along with new DNS code, etc. The result was that I finally got a picture on my iPhone from the action cam, and yet once I started trying to record the picture lasted about 3 or 4 seconds and then went to black, and resumed searching again. So, it is now completely unusable until Yuneec fixes it. How long this must go on I don't know, but the handgrip is unusable in the meantime. The same camera works fine on the Q500 so the problem isn't the camera. I've also read that Yuneec is having problems with the Breeze interface, but I don't have any personal experience with that system. If true however, then it appears that Yuneec is slow in responding to Apple's updates and they need to be on top of these changes in a more timely fashion. ### 1/5 — CGO 3 ... *2017-01-31, version 1.0.7* Please update the app so you can view and save the videos on your phone instead of using pc to do it I know DJI has that function.. :( ### 1/5 — Unboxed today - Returned today *2017-01-19, version 1.0.7* Unboxed G500 4K today 1/18/2017 - main reason I went with Yuneec vs Phantom was for the steadygrip feature. App is not iPhone 6s compatible, contacted customer service ending up with same result. I just got a typhoon h and yes I know it’s out of date kind of but still. I have a cgo3+ camera and it was simple hook up. Install app, power on camera, connect to camera WiFi, put in long password (1234567890), start app and off we go simple. This app is for the CGO3 4k camera that comes with yuneec 4k typhoon quad copter. I got it to work on both an iPad Air 2 and an old iPhone c. This camera requires 5 ghz signal, and the most important thing, the wifi password 1234567890 Once you select cgo3 in wifi enter password, open app, record video and pics!!! This app WORKS FLAWLESSLY downloaded it in seconds, plugged a battery In the Typhoon H, powered up, connected to the CGO3 via wifi settings in phone, password 1234567890, connected first try, opened the app and BAM what do you know, there's my video feed! I can adjust everything I can on my transmitter just from my phone! This app is awesome as of June 29, 2017. Don't let the other reviews lead you astray! ### 5/5 — My results have been fantastic *2017-02-01, version 1.0.7* I originally used the CG03 with the iPhone 6 Plus. Last week got the 7 plus. I'm having no issues with the camera/SD card. I'm simply powering up and begin shooting. Weird seeing that so many are indeed having issues. I've had numerous phone contacts with Yuneec support over a crashed up Tornado & found the guys personable and very helpful. Also nice that they speak American English. If you folks are having problems, I'd strongly suggest calling Yuneec for help. The camera itself shoots amazing video using the grip. I did mod the grip to accept a 11.1V Lipo.
