## What is Chain Capture?

You get a board and a handful of chess pieces. Tap a piece, tap something it can take, and it takes it and stands on that square. Then do it again. You win when one piece is left. Get the order wrong and you strand a piece in a corner with nothing left to eat.

The pieces move the way you already know. Pawns capture diagonally and only forward, and that is what usually ruins a plan. Knights jump over everything, walls included. The King captures one square in any direction and nothing can take the King, so it is either your last piece standing or the thing in your way.

Stars come from restraint. A chain is a run of captures made by the same piece: the fewer times you hand over to another piece, the more stars you keep. Par is on screen from the first move, so you always know what a clean solve looks like.

100 LEVELS, FIVE CHAPTERS
The pawn opens, the queen arrives at 16, the King at 31, walls at 46, and from 61 the board opens up to 8×8. Difficulty was tuned by measurement, not by feel, and every level is verified to have a solution.

DAILY CHALLENGE
One board, the same for everyone, a new one every day. Solve it and your streak grows.

ENDLESS
Unlocks after level 100. Boards keep coming until one beats you.

Undo and restart cost nothing and are always there. If you run out of captures, the game tells you instead of letting you stare at the board.

Made small on purpose: no ads, no in app purchases, no account, no timer, no network. It works on a plane. It plays with one thumb.

English, Italian and Spanish. Light and dark. Five boards and three piece colors, unlocked with stars. Screen reader support: the board is read square by square, "pawn on c4, capturable
