Myself, being a ‘wordie’, flew through all of the possible unlocks without purchase, in a couple of hours. Would be fantastic to be able to unlock more before having to buy the rest of the levels. Overall it’s fun and not really challenging but enough to keep it fun. ### 4/5 — No sound control *2019-03-11, version 2.0* Edited 3/11/19 the creator responded to let me know the sound bug has been fixed. I played the game for a few minutes and my podcast continued uninterrupted. I have amended my review from 3 stars to 4 stars. I haven’t even gotten very far in playing this game because I am annoyed from the outset. I hate game sounds. I like to listen to podcasts or music, or even just not have sound, while I play games. As soon as I started this game, and its sequel, my podcast stopped. I went straight to the options and clicked on the sound option to turn the sound off. I am not sure what sound (music maybe) it turned off because every click makes a sound, every time you make a connection there’s a sound, and every transition makes a sound. Sounds add nothing to games for me and I shouldn’t have to mute my phone when I play a game. ### 4/5 — Completely Addicted! *2018-02-25* This game is my favorite choice ever! I can’t give it 5 stars because of some of the word combs - they just don’t go together for me. But I play every day and have played almost all the levels. Are you planning to add more? Please say you will! ### 4/5 — Fun game but iap's are not disclosed *2017-11-25* A word association game that makes for a good time waster. Most puzzles are fairly easy and then a few (but not many) will surprise you. There's plenty of hints earned in each round. Controls are easy. Just tap your answers. Unfortunately, I did not give it a full 5 stars because this is actually not a free game. I believe strongly that developers should get paid for their work. But.... I also believe that consumers should know what they are getting. You can play some levels, but then the game offers you to pay for other ones. Normally, I think this is great. But... in the description, nothing states that there are in-app purchases. I've noticed that other games by the same developer actually have this statement. I have made in app purchase in some of this dev's other games. Don't get me wrong.... the games are good. But it's not actually free if you have to pay to play or suffer through nag screens. My suggestion would be to disclose that there are Iap's and offer some harder puzzles in the sample ones. ### 2/5 — Uninstalled *2017-02-17* Most of the compound words were too easy. But there are some things that make me question the intelligence of the developer. They use words that aren't spelled the same, and cut up words that aren't word combos. For instance, I just played a game that included the words "ant" and "arctic". Apparently, the word "ant" was to precede the word "arctic". Problem with that is the two words aren't a word combo, such as the words "green" and "light" would be. So, what's next, devs? "Car" and "pet"? "Win" and "dough"? In another game, the word "fee" was supposed to precede "fi-fo-fum". However, the word "fee" was supposed to be spelled "fi". There are many more examples just like this. I realize it's trivial, but COME! ON! There are so many words to choose from! Do your in-app purchasers a favor and give them...us...what we paid for. Pull out a dictionary. As an English prof, I am in love with language, and these games are intriguing, fascinating, and tons of fun. I don't agree that they're too easy for adults. I have a PhD in English, and I still miss some of the associations. You can always challenge yourself to solve the puzzles faster, after all. Yes, please keep developing more levels, and keep doing what you do SO well.
