And if something isn’t the way Chairish wants it, they’ll make you wait another week after you fix the listing. My drawback is the app is glitchy. I can’t use my Apple pen on my iPad and searches often fail when searching. I’m not sure what happens to be honest, but the search will often just stop and won’t go further when I know there are more items. The app is very slow as well. When you’re constantly looking online, it needs to be a little bit faster for people who know what they want. I emailed and they offered to upload the photos for me and instead they just made a new listing instead of the one I was working on. ### 1/5 — Archaic payout timelines, slow seller support and excessive commission rates *2026-05-25, version 7.75.0* I wanted to love this app because the platform reaches the right clientele, but the reality of selling here is incredibly frustrating. The business model is completely lopsided against the seller. The platform forces you through an exhaustive, micromanaged listing process that takes way too long to list per item (sometimes sitting in review for a week or more). Additionally, unless you pay for their expensive monthly memberships, Chairish hits you with a brutal 30% to 40% commission rate. What makes this high commission unacceptable is how slowly they return the remaining funds to the person who actually sourced, photographed, and packed the item. Holding a seller's money for nearly a week post-delivery for "batch processing" is outdated. We are charged top-tier fees for what is supposed to be premium seller support, yet we receive bottom-tier service. The combination of snail-paced listing approvals and delayed payouts is unacceptable for the commission we hand over. This is the worst experience I have ever had with a company. They made me ship my items to the customer I paid shipping cost myself out-of-pocket supposed to get money within 48 hours of customer receiving the item and you’re supposed to upload your tracking information which I did OK 48 hours comes and goes I look into reviews of the company and they said at the most it’ll be six days. I’m on day nine I haven’t received a dime. I contacted two different customer service agents who made me feel like I’m being unreasonable to request for my money is I don’t think these people are even in this country. I don’t know what they’re doing with the money but if you’re a seller do not sell your items on this platform. I don’t think these people are gonna be around for very long the way that they’re running their business and I think this is pretty much a scam where they don’t wanna really pay people I am gonna report them to the Better Business Bureau cause what they’re doing. I don’t really think it’s legal not one of the people apologize to me or try to rectify it they have been treating me like I’m being completely unreasonable and they’re not appreciative of their sellers at all. I repeat do not sell anything on this platform. This is a total scam. When I asked for a supervisor or the owners information, they refused and said they couldn’t give me that that seems a little sketchy. ### 1/5 — App filter not good *2025-09-25, version 7.74.0* When I apply filter options the item count does not change on the app. This is not helpful because I have no idea how many items I am about to view. ### 1/5 — SCAM *2025-06-23, version 7.73.0* COMPLETE SCAM. bought 3 things from here and never got it shipped. Customer service called me and tried to trap me saying I authorized the purchase meanwhile I never got it. Explained my dissatisfaction and my situation and nothing has changed. When someone makes a $1K purchase, they expect some accountability from your platform. Please assist. ### 1/5 — No “White Glove” Service *2025-01-27, version 7.71.0* I recently bought a piece of art through this site. It was supposed to be delivered by “White glove” service. It took nearly a month before the shipper picked the item up, then they wanted to deliver at night on a weekend and leave it on my porch, then they broke down and I had to drive 4 hours round trip to pick up my item. I spoke with 3 representatives of Chairish, all of whom promised to get with the shipper and then let me know. Instead all 3 reps literally ghosted me. Not a single one called back. I finally had to go through the vendor. So much for my $700 “white glove” delivery. Don’t let Chairish organize shipping for you. They’re incompetent and non-existent should you have a problem. ### 1/5 — Can’t Open After Last Update *2024-12-02, version 7.70.4* After the last iOS update (18.1.1) Chairish will not open on the iPad. It flashes for a moment then closes. I tried clicking on App Support in the App Store, but get an error message. I enjoy using the app, but can no longer open it. ### 1/5 — App Not Working on New iPad *2024-12-01, version 7.70.4* All iOS updates done, all app updates done. The app is not functional as of 12/1/2024 on iPads.
