## What is Chairwarden?

The booking app that keeps your long appointments whole.

A four-hour session pays for your week. A walk-in booked into the middle of it does not. Chairwarden blocks that from the day you sign up. You set two numbers during setup and never open a settings menu again.

FOR THE PERSON WHO OWNS THE BOOK
Barbers, hairstylists, nail techs, tattoo artists, estheticians, massage therapists. Anyone renting a chair, a booth or a suite and running their own schedule. If you have a front desk and ten chairs, use something else.

HOW CALENDAR PROTECTION WORKS
You say how long a quick service takes and how long a long one takes. From then on, short services cannot book into the middle of a long block. Clients never see that slot as an option. You can still override it yourself when a regular asks.

WHAT YOU GET
• A booking page your clients open from a link. They install nothing.
• Text and email reminders before the appointment
• Deposits when you want one: part up front, the rest at the visit
• Your client list, imported from a CSV or your old tool
• Revenue, utilization and top services once bookings start

WHAT WE DO NOT TAKE
No percentage of your card payments. No fee per booking. No marketplace that sells your client to the shop down the street. Your clients stay yours, and so do your prices.

Free up to 15 bookings a month. Individual costs $29 a month or $274.99 a year.

Terms of Use (EULA): https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/

Individual is an auto-renewing subscription: Individual Monthly, 1 month, $29.00 per month; Individual Yearly, 12 months, $274.99 per year. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. It renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.5 — 2026-09-30

Notifications, fixed and finished:
• New bookings and cancellations now reach your iPhone as push notifications.
• Tap a notification to open that booking on your calendar.
• Choose which ones you get under You → Notifications.
• Opened your sign-in email on another device? Type the code from the email instead.

Also: smoother sign-up with Google and Apple, your name is now editable under You, and better screen reader support.

### 1.4 — 2026-09-25

You can now rate Chairwarden from inside the app, so telling us what you think no longer means going to find the App Store listing.

### 1.3 — 2026-09-24

Your phone now tells you when a client books or cancels, so you hear about it while you are working instead of the next time you open the app.

### 1.2 — 2026-09-24

Calendar protection now knows your trade: barbers, nail techs, tattoo artists, estheticians and massage therapists get their own service templates and icons. You can change your trade any time from Account. Fixed a cookie banner that covered the bottom navigation on the web.

### 1.1 — 2026-09-10
