## What is Chalets?

Book a chalet or istiraha in seconds, with no sign-up and no account.
Completely free for guests: you pay the app nothing, there is no subscription and no fee. You pay the chalet owner directly, outside the app.

HOW BOOKING WORKS
1. Browse chalets and istirahas by city with live availability: available now, next available time, or full today.
2. Choose the day, check-in time and duration from the options the owner offers. The price is clear before you book.
3. Enter only your name and mobile number. No account, no password, no email.
4. Pay the owner directly using the method they accept: bank transfer, STC Pay, or cash on arrival. The app never takes your money and never charges a commission.
5. Once the owner approves, your entry pass appears in My bookings with the guard's number and the location. Save it as a PDF or share it.

MORE FOR GUESTS
- No double bookings: the cleaning time between stays is built in automatically.
- My bookings: follow your requests and bookings with your mobile number and booking reference. No account.
- Request a new time subject to availability, and reach the owner on WhatsApp in one tap.
- Favorites: save the chalets you like and come back fast.
- Arabic first, with an English option.

OWN A CHALET OR ISTIRAHA?
This section is for chalet owners only. Guests need none of it.
- Your own chalet page with your logo and look (10 themes) where guests book directly.
- A short booking link for your chalet to share with guests. It opens in the browser on any phone or computer, no app download needed.
- Record a booking from a WhatsApp message or by voice: paste the message or speak in Arabic or English, and the name, time and amount are filled in and a free unit is picked for you, even for multi-day stays.
- Today page: available now or the next available time, a clear hourly timeline, manual bookings and maintenance blocks.
- A picture of today's schedule ready to share with your guard, with check-in, check-out, names and the amount still to pay.
- A Guest left button that frees the unit at once when guests leave early.
- Requests: approve or reject while the unit is held for the guest.
- Revenue, occupancy and payment-method reports, with a PDF report and an invoice for every booking.
- Check-in from 6 AM to 3 AM, weekend pricing, cleaning time, house rules and a guest blocklist.
- A guard account that sees today's bookings and the amount due, calls guests and records new bookings.

Owner offer: 3 months free with every feature and no card required. After that, an owner-only subscription: SAR 150 per month, or SAR 699 for the first year and SAR 999 per year after, billed through the App Store and cancellable at any time.

To be clear: the subscription applies to chalet owners only. Guests always use the app for free, and guest-to-owner payments happen outside the app.

Download Chalets now and book your first chalet without signing up. If you own a chalet, list it and start your 3 free months.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.2.7 — 2026-10-20

A big update for owners and guards. A Guest left button frees the unit at once, and check-in now runs from 6 AM to 3 AM. Booking from a WhatsApp message or by voice is smarter: it picks any free unit and understands multi-day stays such as Thursday to Sunday. The Today page shows Available now or the next available time so you can answer callers at once, with a simpler hourly timeline where night (from 6 PM) has a darker background. Share a picture of today's schedule on WhatsApp with check-in, check-out, names, units and the amount still to pay. The guard sees the amount due on every booking. New: a booking link for your chalet in Settings. Share it so guests can book from any phone or computer without installing the app, and the request comes to you for approval. Plus performance and stability improvements.
