## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.1.6 — 2026-08-18

• Save more than one approach route for a crag, each with its own name.
• Approach recording keeps running while ChalkMap is in the background or your screen is locked, so you can put your phone away on the walk in.
• The start of a route is now pinned from several readings taken while you stand still, so it lands where you actually started.
• Approach routes can be renamed, re-recorded and deleted from the route itself.
• Fixes and improvements throughout.

### 1.1.5 — 2026-08-14

• Icons across the app have been redrawn for a cleaner, more consistent look.
• Fixed: the add button on the map did not always show a clean plus.
• Fixed: the intro screens were cut off when the display size or text size was set larger.
• The photo now fills more of the screen when you draw a line.
• Fixed: button labels on the line drawing screen were cut off when the text size was set larger.
• An invite link tapped before signing in now takes you to the invite once you are signed in.
• Invitation messages no longer include the crag name.
• Fixed: the list of invite codes opened behind the invite screen.
• A sync error no longer appears before you sign in.

### 1.1.2 — 2026-08-12

• Deep water solo problems can now be tagged DWS.
• Invitations can be shared as a link.
• The duplicate check now shows why an item matched, instead of always saying the names were similar.
• Fixed: an error screen could appear when opening the app offline with no saved data.
• Fixed: a clipped button label in the line editor.

### 1.1.1 — 2026-08-06

• Fixed: on the Add a local spot screen, the details field could sit hidden behind the keyboard while you were typing. It now scrolls clear of it.
• Japanese wording corrections across the app.

### 1.1.0 — 2026-08-04

• Around the crag: cafes, onsen, shops and other useful places near a crag, chosen by the establisher.
• Toilets: toilet locations and details can now be added to a crag and viewed from the crag page.
• Drawing a line on a boulder photo is much smoother. The line follows the shape you meant rather than every small movement of your hand.
• Everything in ChalkMap is free for everyone during Phase 1.
