## What is Chalkwork?

Chalkwork is a chalkboard that behaves like one. Draw with your finger or Apple Pencil and the chalk goes on dry and grainy, builds up where you go over it, and smears when you rub it out. Wipe the board and a faint ghost of what was there stays behind until you clean it. Dust drifts to the ledge. Press hard, press lightly, let a stick wear down: it all shows.

Use it for lessons, menus, chore charts, a kitchen wall, a sign at the door, game night, or just to draw.

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.0.2 — 2026-10-30

Bug Fixes

### 1.0.1 — 2026-10-28

Bug fixes for when you are drawing and zooming out quick causing a flash of a layer.

### 1.0 — 2026-10-27

This update makes the chalk behave like chalk. Lines look the same while you draw them as they do when you lift. Rubbing out a thick patch stays rubbed out. Long scribbles no longer drop back or vanish. Plus new game pieces and props, more boards and starter lessons, and truer tools: compass, protractor, fixative and kneaded eraser.

### 0.6 — 2026-10-27

No release notes.
