## What is Chameleon Translate?

Translate conversations from one place.

Chameleon Translate is an independent client for messaging and voice/video conversations using your linked WhatsApp account. Read original messages alongside translations, recognize voice messages locally on your device, and use live translation during calls.

MESSAGES ACROSS LANGUAGES
Choose incoming and outgoing languages. Read translated messages alongside the original text, and review translated content before sending supported voice messages.

LOCAL VOICE-MESSAGE RECOGNITION
Voice-message recognition uses Whisper on your device, with no cloud recognition fallback. Cloud translation uses the third-party AI processing described in the Privacy Policy.

CALLS AND TRANSLATION RECORDS
Make and receive voice/video calls while using the app. Enable live translation when needed and review saved translation transcripts in your call history. Use built-in voices or create a custom voice from an authorized recording when your account is eligible.

PRIVACY CHOICES
WhatsApp sessions and message history are stored on your device. Sign-in requires accepting the Terms and Privacy Policy, including the disclosed third-party AI processing. After signing in, you can withdraw AI permission in Settings and continue original-language messaging, local recognition and ordinary calls.

BEFORE YOU DOWNLOAD
• The interface is primarily in Chinese.
• Commercial-account sign-in currently requires a mainland China (+86) mobile number that can receive verification messages.
• You need an existing WhatsApp account and authorized device association.
• Keep the app in the foreground for new messages and incoming calls. Delivery after iOS suspends or closes the app is not guaranteed.
• Translation services consume shared Chameleon credits. Website purchases have separate checkout terms. This version has no Apple in-app purchases.
