I haven’t been playing that long but when I do play it, I find myself on here for hours love that is by Gala games. I regret investing over 1000$ into this game just to be left in the dark. The bots rule the game so if you don’t have a macro that reads capchta you will never have a positive return on your investment. The reason for the 3 star rating is the last two updates have caused a dramatic increase in loading the game on start. Load times went from 10 seconds to 1.5 to 2 minutes which is insane. I’ve also been attempting to link my account for over a month now, customer service assisted in the beginning but have not responded since and I’m still having the issue. I’ve reached out a few times to get an update, provided my info and still nothing. It’s definitely frustrating when I would like to link and setup NFT’s but cannot. Essentially when I go to login it’s says account already exists (I’m trying to login not create a new account) but the site is still giving me this error. Nothing gets balanced, every 1 week or so, you will get a new champion, but no balance, bug fix or acknowledgement that their doing something. This game has 0 chance! ### 1/5 — A buggy, poor copy of much better games *2023-09-20* Let's call this game what it is: another pay-to-win arena game with 0.25% odds (one out of 400 attempts!) of ever summoning ANY five star champion. There are only two generic battle music themes, and you'll mute audio within minutes once this game becomes incredibly tedious. It has no story worth mentioning, and every interaction is a battle with the same small set of cookie cutter characters repeating the same catch phrases. The gameplay is a poor copy of much better games, and auto battle is the only way to stomach the repetition. Arena battles often lock up the game (you have to force close it and restart) or simply never find a match, likely because of how many people gave the game up... and matches are almost never balanced, so you know who will win 99% of the time before the battle starts. Sometimes the game requires you to update but there is no update available, making it fully unplayable... and the text/fonts in the game are often pixelated and unreadable, especially numbers. My computer opponent even simply stopped picking options in a Tower of Trial battle. Worst of all... you might even think that you'll make money playing this, but you'll never recover what you spent on NFTs and in-game. The only value this game has is in the quality of its animations. ### 1/5 — 0 stars. Trash game, massive money grab, with fake reviews. *2023-08-31, version 1.0.7* I think the great reviews on this game are all fake. Several of them don’t even apply at all to this game specifically. Here’s the real situation: Absolutely, 100% not worth a moment of your time. Don’t even bother. This isn’t just a money hungry game, this is fairly blatant attempted robbery. Yes, you could possibly, maybe earn a profit if you were to get a great hero, mint it, and sell it but what it takes to make that happen is absolutely not worth it. The game is “free.” There are 2 monthly gem subs priced at $2 or $9. There is also a monthly battle pass priced at $27. (All of this is in US Dollars.) The main draw for this game is NFTs. To mint a hero you need minting scrolls. The scrolls come in a 5 pack priced at $190.00. My crappiest hero costs 2 scrolls, my best (the free starter archer hero) takes 11. If I were to mint my starter hero it would cost $570.00 and I would have 4 scrolls left over. Guilds are called estates. They only want top members. You can also make your own for $2,000.00. Financial portion aside, the game is trash. It has some cute animations and some neat ideas that have potential much further down the line. But right now? Probably 99% of the other games on the market if the same style are vastly superior. Overall, this game really only excels at helping me falling asleep. The combat is so slow and so boring it will make you fall asleep when nothing else works. It’s buggy. It glitches, freezes, and lags. The interface is clunky and slow at best. If you don’t have top heroes at top levels, you are only losing in arena. That’s OK because there are these raids that you randomly have a chance of spawning. That’s cool, right? Except, unless you have top heroes at top levels, by the time you finish your own raid, you’ll likely be notified that someone else has already completed it. That’s OK, you can do the campaign to level, right? Except there are very deliberate bottlenecks where you are at such a massive disadvantage if you don’t have top heroes at top levels, that you pretty much have to buy gems or wait a week or two to get strong enough to even get close to completing it. Don’t worry though! There’s another bottleneck shortly after it. I don’t mind whaling a good game. I’ve done it many, many times before. This is not a good game. The pricing system is gross and insulting, honestly. TLDR: This game is designed to make you feel like you are inferior, and unless you give this company an insane amount of money, that will not improve. All to play a game that a 10 year old probably could have done a better job of designing. I went down this rabbit hole so you don’t have to. Skip this one and find one that’s at least semi fun to play. To whoever made this game: This is disgusting. А так поменьше завалом, много игры где легко добываются легенды и комфортно играть, но тут - такого я ещё никогда не видел ! Сюжета нет, контента нет, активности и разнообразия нет - тупо сюжет, арена и башня, и всё, на старте вы получаете героев-бомжей и это ВСЕ ВАШЕ ПАТИ на месяца 2-3 вперед минимум! Потому что в отличии от всех остальных игр такого типа - тут вам НЕ ДАЮТ ВАЛЮТУ ни за сюжет, ни за закрытую карту, ни за активности, вообще ни за что кроме награды арены в конце сезона, но всю валюту и все призовые места займут донатеры 100%, поэтому ваш единственный новый герой это 3 призыва за привязку аккаунта, я 4 раза пробовал и выпал один мусор, даже синего нет, одни белые и зеленые, про фиол и лег я молчу, и на 7 день вы получите синего, на 14 фиол героя за вход и на это все!!!! И потом вам нужно будет фармить башню, около 1,5-3 месяцев для 1 призыва, где у вас 90% будет мусор (белый или зеленый), разрабы настолько жадные что ВООБЩЕ НЕ ДАЮТ ГЕРОЕВ, никаких, и вот прикол - вы можете фармить осколки героев, но на эти осколки нового перса нельзя призвать, только в магазине за 240 штук , а падает по 1-4, в общем настолько жадных разрабов я никогда не встречал, если ты без доната - то тебе предлагают быть пушечным мясом для донатеров, и каждый день играть одной и той же связкой бомжей с которыми далеко не уйдешь, в общем если игра создана только для донатеров, а простые игроки не уважаются и полностью ограничиваются - вот пускай донатеры и играют друг с другом, мерзость. ### 1/5 — Champions arena hands down best game *2023-08-24* Very good game, fun and when I want I can sell my stuff to anyone when I’m done with the game!!!!! ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Play to earn game *2024-10-11, version 1.0.40* Like to play hours every single day. Nice and clean graphics. It incorporates aspects of the RPG into its leveling of the main character and its champions. The battle is fast paced and even though you can go AFK, you are rewarded for being an active player due to the way the AI is configured. Strategies and team composition are also very important and could make the difference between wins and losses. Proper understanding of game mechanics is also very well rewarded. This game has an insane amount of content and things to keep you engaged 24/7 if you so choose to, otherwise you can play it casually and still enjoy it.
