It doesn’t work. It sometimes lets you in with your password, then minutes later it decides it’s wrong. Even when you can get into the app, the booking is confusing, and it’s impossible to book treatments or do anything, it just says to phone. There’s literally no point to this app, and it seems like nobody has worked on it since I last tried to use it years ago! ### 1/5 — Worst app *2025-04-07, version 3.0* Tried to book a class the app did not show the following day only the day after, would not let me book another class and now it also looks like a charge for aqua fit which was always free ,it cost enough to stay here ! Doesn’t offer any ability to log in and view my booking, let alone add treatments to it. Clicking on ‘Bookings’ goes to a message centre with no messages - given I can’t link it to my account or my booking, who’s going to message me about anything? It’s labelled as a Henlow booking app but then says it’s for bookings at City spas and Eastwell … what’s this app even attempting to be? Mystery. Remarkably, it makes the Champneys webpage for bookings seem halfway decent, which it is not, so that’s something I suppose. ### 1/5 — Totally useless *2024-10-20* This is the worst app I’ve ever used. Crashes constantly, doesn’t show booking information. I’ll not waste anymore time on it ### 1/5 — Awful *2024-09-18, version 3.0* This app could be great, but isn’t. The menus and booking process is clunky, and doesn’t appear to have considered how customers might want to use the app to find treatments. Phone the central booking team instead of hoping this app will help you make a booking or see the ones you have ### 1/5 — Useless *2024-06-12, version 3.0* Not worth the seconds it took to download. You literally can’t do anything. Made a booking and then tried to find it in the app and it just says no messsge. Wanted to book our treatments but we had already paid for them in advance,again no way of doing that so basically it’s worthless ### 1/5 — Can’t book treatment *2024-05-09, version 3.0* I click on treatments in the App and get nowhere. Very disappointing ### 1/5 — Feels like it was made as a high school project *2024-04-12, version 3.0* I made a booking online. I downloaded the app assuming I could add the booking and maybe book classes or something. I got the app. Clicked booking and instead of the usual import booking or sign into account it just says message centre. No messages. Wow. Then I wanted to update my password. I have everything saved through Apples keychain. So I’m just copying it from there. When I tried to use their other app that lets me log in, I can log in through the browser but the app says the email doesn’t even exist when I’m literally looking at that account on my laptop. Whoever codes this should not be working here. Do better. ### 1/5 — Plain and simple doesn’t work. *2024-02-22, version 3.0* It just doesn’t work. The treatment availability is completely different to what the website says, which is completely different again to what the staff can see their end. If you do select a treatment (which is a surprisingly tricky thing to do if you don’t want the default) it won’t actually let you pay for it! Why?! Had to ask for a refund. Don’t bother book direct. Very disappointed ### 1/5 — Awful app *2023-11-05, version 2.1* This app is terrible. It is hard to navigate and frequently shows no availability on treatments which are shown as available on the website. You have to scroll down repeatedly to book more than a few weeks ahead and it frequently resets taking you back to the start again. Argh! Considering champneys claim to be all about relaxing this app is seriously stressful! It needs a major rework. Impossible to book and when you book trying to redeem vouchers it doesn’t let you, total scam! They don’t ever answer the phone, impossible to speak to anyone, they take a week to respond to emails and forget what they’ve spoken to you about in the previous email. Theres an error showing classes. Not to mention the awful UX… CHAMPNEYS… sort it out!!! You charge us enough for the stays / treatments / classes now!!! ### 2/5 — Improvement Needed *2024-06-02, version 3.0* The app doesn’t let you add your booking in and doesn’t let you filter searches by date so when booking in advance you need to scroll through all the previous dates to get to yours for every treatment which gets tedious. The app doesn’t allow you to make multiple appointments in the same time slot so when booking for yourself and a partner or friend you are forced to either book different timed appointments and then wait around or do what we ended up doing which is downloading the app on two separate devices so we could book treatments for the same time slot.
