FULLY FREE. ### 1/5 — Not realistic *2024-09-04* As someone who obsessed over chancing my college admissions in high school, this app is NOT realistic. Found this on TikTok and decided to download to see how accurate this is. There is no value to this app other than feeding into the obsession over which schools to attend. As someone who got into an Ivy and attends one, I tried this app out to see how comprehensive it is. It doesn’t tell me anything different other than what I already knew when applying to colleges. The app needs to emphasize how this is not an official estimate. I wish I knew how the percentages are calculated, as that is what most people don’t know about college admissions. The UI is simplistic but glitchy. I don’t go to a school with a college guidance counselor that has any time for me. I think I do well but I’m not really sure where I should be applying.
