## What is ChannelGlow?

ChannelGlow gives you a clear, read-only view of sensor channels hosted on ThingSpeak.

Connect a channel
• Add a public channel with its numeric Channel ID
• Add a private channel with its channel-level Read API Key
• Save multiple channels and move between them quickly
• Test the connection before a private key is stored

See what your sensors are doing
• Discover all declared fields automatically, from field1 through field8
• Review the latest values in a clean dashboard
• Open numeric history charts with honest gaps for missing values
• Inspect complete raw values when a field is not numeric
• Choose 2-hour, 8-hour, 24-hour, or latest-8,000-entry windows

Make the dashboard yours
• Rename fields and add units
• Choose colors and decimal precision
• Hide fields you do not need
• Add display-only lower and upper thresholds
• Export the downloaded window as a safe UTF-8 CSV file

Designed for trust
ChannelGlow connects directly from your device to api.thingspeak.com over HTTPS. Private Read API Keys are stored in Apple Keychain with device-only protection and are never placed in request URLs, exports, screenshots, or accessibility labels. The app does not require or create a ChannelGlow account, and has no advertising, tracking, analytics, or credential-relay server.

A bounded last-successful response can remain on your device for clearly labeled offline viewing. Removing a saved channel removes its local profile, cached response, presentation settings, and saved Read API Key; it does not change or delete anything on ThingSpeak.

The built-in demo uses deterministic fictional greenhouse readings, so you can explore ChannelGlow without an account or credential.
