## What is Chant?

Chant is a counter for the things people repeat: a mala of 108, a rosary, a tasbih, a phrase you keep coming back to.

Tap anywhere on the screen to count. Keep a few chants ready, each with its own colour and round length. Nothing leaves your device, and there is no account to make.

Two features, and nothing else — the smaller fixes in this build aren't worth a
reader's attention.

    The sitting now follows you out of the app.

    ON THE LOCK SCREEN
    A sitting raises a Live Activity: the chant, the count, the beads and a clock that keeps its own time, on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. Turn a bead, pause, or end the sitting without unlocking. Still no server — Chant only ever updates its own banner.

    A VERSE TO FOLLOW
    Attach the words to a chant and keep them collapsed while you sit. One tap reveals them if you lose the line, and folds them away again.
