Chapadão answers one question: should you paddle out in Pipa right now? Not a wall of numbers. A verdict. THREE BREAKS, NOT THREE THOUSAND Praia do Amor, Praia da Pipa (Centro) and Praia do Madeiro. Each one scored on live swell, wind and tide — and each one judged on its own terms. Madeiro's headland blocks the trade winds, so when the other two are blown to pieces, it can still be the pick. The app knows that. IT LEARNS YOUR EYE The built-in settings are educated guesses. Rate what you actually saw and Chapadão re-tunes each spot to match your judgement — but only with changes it can prove work on sessions it wasn't shown. No overfitting to two good days. FLAT DAY? PIPA'S STILL OPEN Plano B ranks the dolphins at Baía dos Golfinhos, the natural pools at Praia do Amor, the Chapadão lookout, the Malembá dunes and the Guaraíras sunset — by what's actually possible right now. Several of them only exist at low tide. It knows which, and what time they open up. HONEST ABOUT UNCERTAINTY Most forecast apps show one number and pretend it's certain. Chapadão takes the median of three wave models and shows you how much they disagree. When they don't agree, it says so. WORKS WHERE THE SIGNAL DOESN'T The last forecast is saved to your phone. Open it on the beach with no bars and you still get an answer, clearly marked with how old it is. Dedicated Open-Meteo servers. ### 1.3.2 — 2026-09-02 Bug where the onboarding showed the card, added the correct subscription groups, updated screenshot in listing. ### 1.3.1 — 2026-08-31 The forecast is now a coastline. Swipe the home screen between Madeiro, Amor and Pipa Centro — every beach drawn in its own conditions, the sky on real Pipa time, the true moon at night. The widget leads with the plan: TOMORROW in big letters, the verdict beside it — and after dark it says "Now: dark" instead of pretending. Every time carries its day. No more mistaking Monday's peak for right now. Flat day? The water itself opens Plano B — and after sunset it knows: "Where to go tonight." New icon: the surf dude. Plus honest daylight hours for the tide pools and the sunset lagoon, and a weekend of fixes from real field testing in Pipa. ### 1.2 — 2026-08-29 Small improvements under the hood ### 1.1 — 2026-08-18 Plano B is a lot more useful: - Tap a place to open it properly — no more descriptions cut off mid-sentence - Every place now shows how long it takes to get there and whether it costs anything - Tide-locked spots tell you their actual window: "Open 14:00–17:00 today" Fixes: - The widget was showing raw text instead of the verdict. That was embarrassing. It's fixed. - The score breakdown now reads as percentages, and says out loud that the factors multiply rather than add up — which is why five decent-looking bars can still mean a 14 - On a flat day it says "nothing worth picking today" instead of crowning the least-bad hour - Wind shows its degrees now, so "S — outside the window" stops looking like a contradiction - You can delete a logged session (press and hold — swiping never actually worked) - Text scales with your iPhone's text size setting Quieter but more important: the app no longer reads missing wind data as dead calm, and a tide-locked place with no tide reading now says so instead of showing as open. Baía dos Golfinhos is only walkable at low tide and the way back gets cut off — that one mattered.
