Yesterday i tried to take a tap to pay payment only to be notified that it was not available!!! ### 5/5 — Charge app customer service *2024-02-13, version 3.5.12* Customer service is extremely quick to respond and really helpful. My experience with David was fast and he helped me through email with any issues I was having with the card reader setup. Dave ### 5/5 — Saved the day *2023-09-29, version 3.5.8* Card machine goes down, or already cashed up for the day, this has been great! ### 1/5 — Fraudulent transactions *2022-07-06, version 3.5.4* Downloaded this and many transactions automatically taken out, now in dispute with Stripe and having to pay dispute transactions ### 1/5 — Looks promising…but falls at the first hurdle *2022-02-12, version 3.5.2* Good luck even getting past the login stage. When you try to connect your Stripe account, you need the 6 digit verification code from authenticator app. But when you open that up and get your code…when you reopen the app, you’ve been logged out. You have to put in your app pin, click connect to Stripe, type your email address on again…type your password in again THEN enter the verification code. By which time it has invalidated/timed out. Very poorly thought out and poor UX makes me nervous about using it to charge my customers. ### 2/5 — Card scan doesn’t work! *2021-07-25* I was forced to type in numbers at a HUGE event! Dave ### 2/5 — Used to be a great deal: now not so much. *2021-07-06* The app design is great, seamless and fast. I had some problems with a French-language iOS with the decimals (the payment requests were sent without the cents). Very sadly, since July 1st, 2021, the Charge team pricing structure is now percent based (1% on top of the local Stripe transaction fees) instead of a fixed cost per transaction. This will make a huge difference for business with a small number of large amount transaction and hurt those businesses. Ah! As for the pricing change, unfortunately Stripe don't support fixed fees for subscription payments, so given the large number of requests we received to add subscription payments, we had to change our fee structure to allow us to implement this functionality. Having said that, it will also allow us to spend additional time & effort on making the app even better - we have heaps of improvements already on our radar and will be working to include them in future updates over the coming weeks and months, so hopefully you (and our other users) will find this beneficial. Dave ### 1/5 — A bit pants *2021-04-16, version 3.01* Set up was a nightmare, when I go to Authenticator to get the number, I have to log in all my details again and by the time I do that the auth number is out of time.
