## What is Charge Rush Surge?

Charge Rush Surge is an electrostatics puzzle where you sort charged particles by drawing conductor wires — and the physics of Coulomb's law makes every decision matter.

A chamber fills with charged particles. Crimson spheres carry positive charge. Electric blue spheres carry negative charge. Both types drift through the scene under real electromagnetic forces: same charges repel each other outward, opposite charges pull toward each other. A silver conductor zone waits at the top. An amber insulator zone waits at the bottom. The player draws copper wires from individual charges to their correct zones, and each routed charge flows along the wire and locks into place with a burst of sparks.

The challenge is the Coulomb interaction. Every particle exerts a force on every other particle, continuously, at sixty frames per second. A cluster of four positive charges spreads outward because positive repels positive. Those same positives are simultaneously attracted toward nearby negatives, pulling the two clouds together. When the player routes one positive charge upward, it stops repelling its neighbours — which immediately changes the force balance for every other particle in the scene. The chamber is never still. Nothing stays where you last saw it.

Routing the wrong charge to the wrong zone produces an immediate failure: a positive charge drawn toward the insulator zone sparks and bounces back, because the accumulated negative charge on the insulator repels the incoming positive. The physics enforces the rules. The insulator zone becomes harder to fill as it accumulates more negative charge, because the surface charge increasingly repels new negatives arriving from a distance. The player who understands this routes negatives to the insulator early, before the field gets strong.

Three levels escalate the challenge from four charges and fifty seconds to fourteen charges and thirty-eight. The third level runs a full fourteen-particle Coulomb simulation simultaneously — positive clusters pushing apart while attracting negative clouds, negative clusters doing the same in reverse, the entire system seeking an equilibrium the player must interrupt and redirect before the timer expires.

The visual design renders each particle as a glossy three-dimensional sphere with primary and secondary specular highlights, a pulsing glow, and a drop shadow. Conductor wires are four-layer metallic tubes with animated current dashes flowing toward the zone. The zone platforms are beveled chrome and polished amber. Every effect is computed from real electromagnetic physics.
